As soon as she finished speaking, Jian Ruoxi was about to pick up the cup on the table when her hand suddenly slipped, and the cup fell to the ground and shattered.
Lu Jin rushed over to check if she was hurt.
"Look at me, I was so busy talking to you that I almost forgot you've had a long day too."
"We'll be filming the first episode of 'Mercedes Life' in a couple of days, right? You should go and get some rest. I'll take care of these things."
Her tone left no room for refusal. She half-pushed Jian Ruoxi into the bedroom and closed the door before Jian Ruoxi could speak.
Lu Jin looked at the broken cup on the ground and sighed silently.
"Ruoxi still cares about her older brother, otherwise she wouldn't have reacted this way."
In the middle of the night, as if sensing something, Lu Shen suddenly woke up from a nightmare.
"Ruoxi!"
When he woke up, he was still in the Lu family's study, and none of the scenes from his dream appeared.

"Tomorrow is Ruoxi's first time recording Mercedes Life, and I'm really looking forward to her performance."
The next day, Jian Ruoxi rushed out of her house in a panic, hailed a taxi, and headed to the filming location.
Coincidentally, she arrived at the same time as Yu Hongxin.
"Sister Ruoxi, there's no need to rush. We're not late yet."

When he looked up at Jian Ruoxi, he couldn't help but marvel at the condition of her skin.
"Sister Ruoxi, no wonder you're too lazy to dress up. Even with the camera right in front of you, your bare face still looks amazing."
Jian Ruoxi was amused by Yu Hongxin's words. She couldn't believe her ears; she could detect a strong hint of jealousy in the boy's voice.
Isn't this something that only women compare?
"Ruoxi, Hongxin, you've arrived so early." Luo Yu arrived right after them.
"Good morning, Brother Luo Yu." Luo Yu was the oldest among them.
Just as she was about to go inside, the taxi driver suddenly called out to Jian Ruoxi.
"Miss, you haven't paid yet."
Jian Ruoxi then realized that she had been in such a rush that morning that she had forgotten not only her phone but also her money.
"Haha, Sister Ruoxi, you're so cute! You could forget something like that. Looks like you're a workaholic."
Just as Yu Hongxin was about to pay for Jian Ruoxi, Su Ziyu stepped in.
"Let me pay for Ruoxi."

They thought Lu Shen wouldn't be able to stop them this time, but unexpectedly, Yu Hongxin came to cause trouble.
"To repay Sister Ruoxi for treating me to dinner in advance, I'll take you home tonight."

This is nothing like the kind of arrangement that top agent Ran Jie would make.
