Lu Jin was still raging and kept ranting and raving.
Lu Shen answered the phone:
"If you want to get out sooner, shut up. Your sister-in-law is timid, don't scare her."
He hung up his sister's phone and looked at Jian Ruoxi triumphantly.
Lu Jin was hung up on before he could finish speaking, and he was so angry that he started throwing things.
"A den of snakes and rats! Jian Ruoxi, that fickle woman, thinks she's a coward?"
The housekeeper heard a clattering sound coming from the room and spoke up:
"Miss, the young master specifically instructed that everything in your room is an antique he acquired at great expense, and you must pay for it at the original price if it is broken."
Lu Jin's hand, which was carrying the vase, trembled slightly, and his arm, which was about to throw it down, was forcibly stopped in mid-air.
Ouch!
Lu Jinyi pulled back his strength, twisting his waist.
"Cunning old fox! Taking advantage of the chaos!"
Lu Jin roared fiercely, but he didn't dare to smash anything anymore.
Jian Ruoxi looked at Lu Shen with embarrassment and annoyance.
"Laugh, laugh, laugh! What are you laughing at? Are you feeling smug?"
She casually tossed an apple from the fruit platter at him.
Lu Shen caught the apple that was thrown to him with one hand, wiped it casually a couple of times, and put it in his mouth.
He waved the apple in his hand triumphantly, his smile radiant.
His expression quickly froze, and Jian Ruoxi picked up the fruit platter and splashed it at him...
Jian Ruoxi smiled as she applied ointment to Lu Shen's bruises, then pressed it hard against the bruises, making him wince in pain.
Lu Shen's hair was wet, and he looked utterly hopeless after Jian Ruoxi had done that to him.
She just didn't like his aloof, all-knowing attitude, as if he always had only one expression.
She wanted to see more of his expressions, even anger, so that at least he would seem more real and relatable.
"Let me and Jin'er go back to the film set tomorrow. The new drama is about to be released, and we still have some things to do."
She held a boiled egg while discussing things with him to reduce the swelling.
"Go back, and you'll still be able to see Su Ziyu."
Lu Shen was sullen; he just didn't want her to leave.
"Su Ziyu is just a business partner of mine, and we have no improper dealings."
She patiently explained, as if afraid of being misunderstood.
Such an attitude and tone naturally made Lu Shen happy.
"I'll take you there tomorrow."
She happily gave Lu Shen a loving kiss.
"I want to eat the pasta you made."
"good."
I want you to peel an apple for me.
"good!"
"I'd like you to massage my shoulders; they're sore."
"good……"
"I'm going back to my room to sleep tonight."
"not good!"
Jian Ruoxi, unable to bear it any longer, gritted her teeth and ran off to prepare dinner.
Lu Shen smiled as he watched her busy work and stepped forward to help.
She looked at the hand that had been tying her apron and then groping her, and endured it.
She watched as the mouth that was handing her the condiments drew closer, and she endured it.
Finally, watching him smash two bowls and break an egg, I couldn't hold back any longer and forced out a single word: "Get out!"
Lu Shen walked out of the kitchen, feeling wronged.
He's a young master, and it's already good enough that he's willing to cook and help out, but that girl is still being picky.
I never imagined that I, the young master of the prestigious Lu family, would fall to such a state. What goes around comes around.
He's better at doing things he's familiar with.
He took out his treasured wines, lit candles, and brought out the prepared flowers to create a festive atmosphere.
Sure enough, Jian Ruoxi was touched when she brought out the prepared food.
He never prepared any surprises for himself, and he was never romantic.
He has always disdained wasting too much energy on himself.
Her eyes reddened as she looked at the gentle man in the candlelight, his face filled with tenderness.

"As expected, your cooking skills are still the best."

That night was unusually harmonious.
After the meal, they washed the dishes together, laughing and joking.
He took her hand and they danced; in that moment, they belonged to each other.
They were cleaning the house together, leaving the maid somewhat bewildered.
In the end, they watched the show together, complaining about each and every flaw.
She lay on his lap watching TV, and eventually fell into a deep sleep.
He gazed at her sleeping face and gently kissed her eyelids.
Some people and some things you only understand after experiencing them, and that's what you ultimately want.
The next day, Lu Shen drove Jian Ruoxi and Lu Jin back to the film set.
He brought drinks and desserts for everyone and asked them to take good care of the two of them.
Seeing his older brother mingling with everyone, Lu Jin turned to look at Jian Ruoxi:
"Not bad, you've made rapid progress."
She looked at Lu Shen quietly without saying a word, her eyes gentle.
"I can't stand you guys anymore, let's get to work!"
Lu Jin rolled her eyes and walked away first.
After greeting everyone, Lu Shen ran over and gently kissed her forehead:
"Sweetie, I'll pick you up tonight."
She hummed in agreement and nodded slightly.
After seeing Lu Shen off, she saw Lu Jin waving at her, so she hurried over.
"The TV series has been very well received, and I've been thinking about it. I can shoot a few short videos as a way to interact with the audience."
Lu Jin handed the written lines to Jian Ruoxi.
"In order to generate more media buzz, the investors demanded that Han Mingyi be added in addition to you and Su Ziyu."
Lu Jin looked at Jian Ruoxi with some difficulty.
Although she is a daughter of the Lu family, the Lu family does not support her pursuing a career as a director.
