Perhaps because she was too tired the night before, Jian Ruoxi slept until ten o'clock in the morning and still hadn't woken up. It wasn't until the maid knocked on the door that she rubbed her sleepy eyes and opened the door.
"Miss Jian, a Mr. Su has come downstairs and says he's your friend." The maid looked at Jian Ruoxi a little nervously. This man had come all the way to pick up Miss Jian from work. If the young master found out, there would be another argument.

She went back to her bedroom to get her phone and saw a message from Ran Jie.
"There's an outdoor shoot tomorrow, and since Su Ziyu lives in the same place as you, I asked him to pick you up."
So that's how it is. Jian Ruoxi breathed a sigh of relief. It seems that Ran Jie gave Su Ziyu the address. Otherwise, if Lu Shen saw it later, she wouldn't know how to explain it. That guy has a very strange temper. If she didn't explain it clearly, there would be a lot of trouble.
Jian Ruoxi finished tidying up and went downstairs. She saw Su Ziyu sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper. The morning sunlight shone on his profile, making him look like a perfect sculpture. No wonder so many female fans were crazy about him: "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
“I live nearby too. Ran Jie said that today’s location shooting was urgent and he couldn’t get a car at the last minute, so he asked me to help. It’s nothing serious, just a friend helping each other out.” Su Ziyu smiled and handed over the breakfast in his hand: “I brought it for you.”
Jian Ruoxi smiled gratefully at the soy milk and fried dough sticks in Su Ziyu's hand: "Thank you, I appreciate your help."
Su Ziyu smiled and shook his head: "No, it's just on the way. If you really feel bad, just treat me to a meal next time as a way of repaying me." He was referring to his own car, not the company-provided van.
"No problem, I'll treat you to a big meal."
The two walked towards the main entrance, chatting and laughing. Suddenly, Jian Ruoxi felt as if someone was staring at her from behind. She turned around and saw Lu Shen staring straight at her in his bathrobe.
His gaze was icy cold, as if he had caught his wife eloping with another man. When Jian Ruoxi saw his expression, she instinctively wanted to explain, but she didn't know what to say.
Just as Jian Ruoxi was about to step forward to explain to Lu Shen, Su Ziyu unexpectedly walked up to Lu Shen and said, "Mr. Lu, you got up so early, won't you rest a little longer?"
Lu Shen sneered when he heard this. He looked Su Ziyu up and down with disdain in his eyes: "That's still not as good as Mr. Su. It must be quite hard for you to pick up someone else's wife from work."

"President Lu, I never expected that a dignified group president would say such laughable things. Anyone who didn't know better would think you were underage." Su Ziyu didn't want to continue arguing with Lu Shen. This man was really childish. Did he even know how Jian Ruoxi had ever fallen for him?
"Su Ziyu, this is my home. You are not welcome to an impolite person. Please leave." Lu Shen did not want to continue arguing with him and took a step forward to kick him out.
Seeing this, Jian Ruoxi stepped forward to stop him, but Lu Shen shook off her arm and she fell to the ground.
"Xiao Xi!" Su Ziyu rushed over to help Jian Ruoxi up when he saw her fall to the ground. He looked at Lu Shen and his expression darkened. "Lu Shen, how could you push a woman? Are you even a man?"
Lu Shen felt heartbroken seeing Jian Ruoxi fall to the ground. He wanted to go forward and help her up, but his feet seemed to be nailed to the ground and he couldn't move. He could only let Su Ziyu help Jian Ruoxi up.
Jian Ruoxi gave Su Ziyu a grateful smile, which in Lu Shen's eyes looked like the two of them exchanging glances, making him even more furious and wishing he could tear Su Ziyu to pieces.
"Lu Shen, Ran Jie asked me to pick up Xiao Xi for the location shoot today. You keep saying she's your wife, but she doesn't even have a car to take her to the location shoot. How can you say that here?" Su Ziyu was also furious and was about to curse Lu Shen.
Lu Shen then understood why Su Ziyu had appeared at their house so early in the morning. A trace of guilt appeared in his eyes, but his lips only moved slightly and he still didn't say anything.
After a long pause, he finally said, "Who knows if what you're saying is true or false?"
Su Ziyu was absolutely furious with Lu Shen and wanted to beat the man up, but Jian Ruoxi grabbed his arm and shook her head to signal him not to do it.
