The second scene was originally supposed to be a fight scene between Jian Ruoxi and a foreigner. After it was over, she was supposed to leave the set, but the foreigner called her back: "Jian, your scene isn't over yet. The director told me yesterday that he added your scenes to this scene."
When Jian Ruoxi returned, she reread the script and discovered that the director had added more scenes for her than just this one. She also appeared in several important scenes featuring the main characters later on. She was very grateful and said to the director, "Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I will work very hard."
However, the director smiled and said, "This is what you deserve based on your abilities. There's no need to be humble or grateful."
When Jian Ruoxi reinterpreted the situation, she filmed the next scene: "You stole Nana's ring, and you also sabotaged her job behind the scenes, which is why she lost it."
When Jian Ruoxi said this, her face was full of accusation, and she looked at the other person with a hint of hatred.
At that moment, the sky suddenly darkened. Gu Hao, who was secretly protecting Jian Ruoxi in the corner, sensed that something was wrong with the weather outside, so he pushed open the door and went out.
Dark clouds gathered, and a flash of lightning streaked across the sky in the distance. The dark clouds pressed down lower and lower, seemingly touching the mountaintop.
Gu Hao felt that the atmosphere at the top of the mountain had become somewhat oppressive, as if small stones were constantly rolling down the hillside, and there were more and more pebbles on the ground.
He returned to the film set, grabbed Jian Ruoxi's arm, and said, "Come with me, a mudslide has broken out."
Before Jian Ruoxi could react, he picked her up by the waist, carried her to the car, and drove off, leaving the mudslide far behind.
Jian Ruoxi, her hair slightly disheveled, asked Gu Hao with a shocked expression, "What happened?"
Gu Hao explained, "A mudslide has occurred. If we don't leave now, we'll be buried underneath."
Jian Ruoxi looked back and found that the landslide was much more obvious than the slight vibration that Gu Hao had just observed. Now, huge rocks were sliding down the mountain, and sticky mud was constantly swallowing up the road surface.
Moreover, she saw the mudslide gradually approaching the makeshift film crew.
Jian Ruoxi felt a surge of sadness welling up from the bottom of her heart, even though everyone treated her very badly when she first joined the crew.
However, after spending some time together, she realized that these people just looked down on actors who lacked talent and were spoiled. But once they learned of her true abilities, they still respected her quite a bit. So she begged Gu Hao, "Could you go back first and save them?"
Gu Hao hesitated at her plea. He had been hired by Lu Shen and was only responsible for protecting Jian Ruoxi's life. The safety of others was not within his scope of protection. However, Jian Ruoxi looked at him with pleading eyes.
He couldn't bear to do it, so he told the child to "remember to wear a seatbelt."
He slammed on the brakes, and the car swung 180 degrees due to inertia, before finally coming to a steady stop thanks to Gu Hao's perfect driving skills. He restarted the car, and with a roar, it sped off towards the film crew.
When Jian Ruoxi entered the film set, she found that they were still in the same place, unaware of what had happened outside.
"There's a mudslide outside! Get out of here immediately! Everyone listen to me, there's a mudslide outside!" When Jian Ruoxi first shouted, few people paid any attention to her, so she had to snatch the megaphone from the director and shout at the crowd.
The crowd suddenly became agitated, grabbing their cameras and rushing out of the door, realizing that the mudslide was getting closer and closer.
Gu Hao asked Jian Ruoxi to get in the car. He said, "Take the megaphone and shout to them to stay close to the black jeep and not to run in any other direction."
Gu Hao stepped on the gas, reaching a speed of 200 miles per hour, while Jian Ruoxi, holding a megaphone, kept shouting to the convoy behind them: "Keep close to the black jeep."
And so, the mighty convoy, led by Gu Hao, sprang out of the mudslide like an eagle.
Gu Hao drove until they reached a smooth grassland before stopping. All the other convoys stopped around them. Jian Ruoxi got out of the car and looked back to see if everyone was safe.
The Hollywood director also hurriedly got out of the car and walked towards Jian Ruoxi: "Thank you so much for saving all of our lives."
Jian Ruoxi looked at him with a smile: "Is everyone alright? Has anyone been left behind?"
“Not a single one was left behind. If you hadn’t called us to leave in time, we would have perished there.” The director looked at Jian Ruoxi with admiration.
He then told the editor behind him, "We need to rush to finish the poster production in a few days and add Jian Ruoxi's photo to it."
He asked Jian Ruoxi, "What kind of words do you want to add to the poster?"
This is a great honor; usually only the most popular male and female leads appear on the poster, while the supporting male and female characters do.
As a newcomer to Hollywood with no prior fame, Jian Ruoxi would not normally be allowed to appear on the poster. However, given his outstanding performance and the fact that he saved the entire crew's lives, including him on the poster is not unreasonable.
However, Jian Ruoxi was very modest: "I am already very grateful to be on the poster. As for what text to add, you can decide."
On the day the poster was released, Jian Ruoxi saw the text added by the director: "A brave and great mother, saving people from dire straits."
The poster immediately attracted everyone's attention upon its release, with an Asian person appearing on it. That was shocking enough, but the director's praise of her further indicated that she had the crew's approval.
On the other side, Lu Shen established a charitable foundation in Jian Ruoxi's name, which was mainly managed by his secretary.
The foundation primarily helps vulnerable groups such as women and children. After its official establishment, Lu Shen notified the media that a press conference would be held.
