Chapter 113: Tooth for Tooth

Shen Shuhe glanced sideways when she heard the voice, and saw the boy holding his toy and raising his hand towards her.

Jasmine exclaimed, "Sister Shuhe, be careful!"

The crowd suddenly gasped, and the sound of "be careful" rang in their ears.

The bodyguard behind him frowned upon seeing this, and took a step forward to stop him, but the boy had already rushed in front of Shen Shuhe——

Just when the toy knife was about to hit Shen Shuhe's face, the woman raised her hand without changing her expression and easily grabbed the toy in the boy's hand.

Chen Shuhe lowered his eyebrows, his eyes were stern, and he took the toy knife away with just a little force.

However, she did not throw it away immediately. Instead, she raised her hand and pointed at the slightly plump woman who also rushed over two seconds ago.

The toy knife was placed on the woman's neck, and she stopped moving. "You..."

Before he could even utter a word, he let out a sharp, short cry: "Ouch, it hurts so much!"

Everyone stared in amazement at the rapidly changing situation, and saw with their own eyes how the woman in the black coat slashed the plump woman's neck with a toy knife without hesitation a few seconds ago.

...

...

The slightly plump woman hissed and raised her hand to touch the burning side of her neck.

There was no bleeding, so she breathed a sigh of relief. But when she took out a mirror to look, a six or seven centimeter red mark was clearly visible in her eye.

Her eyes widened as she roared in anger, "You, you damn woman! Hitting people is against the law!"

Hearing this threat that really had no deterrent power, Shen Shuhe's mouth twitched slightly, and she said "Oh" faintly. She threw the toy knife away and patted her hands: "But I didn't say that I hit a person."

As soon as he finished speaking, bursts of snickering were heard from all around.

"This beautiful lady is right. This mother and son can't understand human language at all. They are definitely not human."

"That's right, wouldn't it be better if you apologized earlier?"

"After watching the whole process, I think this beautiful lady did nothing wrong. If you don't apologize, then I'll give you a tooth for a tooth."

"Really? And she was very polite. She didn't touch the little boy at all."

After the words were spoken, many people echoed them.

Everyone's attention unconsciously shifted to the woman who was the center of the topic.

She was wearing a black coat, had a tall figure, and a mask on her face. The drooped brim of her hat barely covered her eyebrows.

The colorful lights shone on the side of the woman's face, her skin was fair and delicate. Even though her whole face could not be seen, everyone looked at her outstanding temperament and couldn't help but wonder what kind of stunning face was behind the mask.

Shen Shuhe ignored all kinds of looks and kept his gaze coldly on the mother and son.

"You always bring up the law as an excuse. What's wrong? Do you think your actions are honorable? Besides, I believe everyone can decide for themselves what is right and wrong."

"And more." Shen Shuhe lowered his eyes and looked at the little boy with a red face and gnashing teeth.

"You keep mentioning that you are a minor, so what? Do you think you can do whatever you want just because you are a minor?" Shen Shuhe sneered disdainfully: "Then you are wrong. The Minor Protection Act protects those poor people who deserve protection, not people like you..."

Shen Shuhe didn't say any more unpleasant words, and only left a piece of advice at the end: "Be careful of the consequences."

The woman's voice was firm and sonorous, word by word, and it was hazy but clear to everyone's ears through the mask.

Most of the people present had children, and their hearts were overwhelmed when they heard the words, and many emotions burst out in just a moment.

"This friend said it well! So what if you are underage? You still need to apologize and be punished if you do something wrong!"

"That's right. He thinks he doesn't want to apologize and evade responsibility just because he's a minor? I think there's something wrong with this kid's thinking!"

"Alas, I saw the news a few days ago about three kids killing someone and burying the body, and the next day they didn't even go to class... They just think there is a law to protect minors, so they are so unscrupulous."

"The Minor Protection Act is supposed to protect bullied children, not evil bastards!"

"In the future, if you encounter such a jerk kid, don't waste time giving unclear advice, just call the police! I believe everyone has sharp eyes, and the police will make their own judgment on what is right and wrong!"

Amid the noise, the coldness in Shen Shuhe's eyes slowly faded away, and the corners of his lips slightly raised under the mask.

She turned around and took Jasmine's hand. Her eyes swept from the boy to his mother's face. Without staying for a second, she turned and left.

The tourists who were talking excitedly watched the woman holding the little girl's hand and leaving the crowd under the protection of bodyguards.

I don't know who started clapping first, then three people, five people, fifty people.

The thunderous applause was louder and louder, mixed with a few words of "Well said!" and "Well done!"

That day, Shen Shuhe took Jasmine for a long walk, but he could still hear the applause echoing in his ears.

“Miss, Miss Shen, this way please.”

As soon as he walked out of the crowd, the bodyguard appeared in time and respectfully extended his hand to lead the way.

Shen Shuhe nodded, and walked with Jasmine in the direction indicated by the bodyguard. After a few steps, they saw a small house.

It was written on it that this room was reserved for park managers and no outsiders were allowed to enter, but the bodyguard just pushed the door open and welcomed them in.

Jasmine's expression did not change. She did not notice any of this and stepped onto the stairs.

Shen Shuhe's eyes flickered slightly, and he followed closely with pursed lips.

“Daddy…” Jasmine threw herself into the man’s arms as soon as she entered.

Her little face wrinkled up as she expressed her grievances: "Someone just bumped into me, and he didn't even apologize."

"Let me see." Jin Yanzhou, who witnessed the whole process, showed no change in expression when he heard the voice. He just held the little girl's head and tilted it to one side. After seeing the bloodstain on the side of her neck, his brows suddenly sank.

Jasmine noticed her father's change of mood almost instantly, so she quickly pressed his arm and said, "Thanks to Sister Shuhe for being here and teaching them a lesson for me!"

"Daddy, you don't know how brave Sister Shuhe was just now. She pushed away the person who was much heavier than her and even used a toy knife to avenge me!"

Hearing this, Jin Yanzhou still did not respond, but looked carefully at the little girl's wound.

Then he raised his eyes, frowned and said, "Why haven't they arrived yet?"

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door. The bodyguard opened the door and stepped sideways, and two men came in one after the other.

The man who came in first was wearing a blue suit. He pulled the man behind him forward without even catching his breath: "Mr. Jin, you've been waiting. The doctor is here."

Jin Yanzhou glanced at the man in the white coat and raised his chin slightly towards Jasmine.

The next second, the man understood and half squatted down, saying softly: "Don't be afraid, little friend, I will take a look at your wound."

Jasmine nodded firmly, she was not afraid!

The doctor put on disposable gloves, reached out and touched the girl's neck. After seeing the wound clearly, he was speechless for a moment.

Really, just a simple scratch.

He was speechless for only a moment, and he quickly adjusted his mood. He caught a glimpse of the park director who kept smiling, and probably guessed that the man in front of him was either rich or noble.

So he did not dare to be negligent, and opened the iodine tincture carefully and solemnly to disinfect the girl.

"Don't worry, sir. The child's wound is not a big deal. It's just a minor abrasion. I'll put a bandage on her after disinfection. Don't let it get wet. Wait for the wound to scab over."

Jin Yanzhou looked over and saw that the blood had been wiped clean, leaving only a faint red mark and no redness or swelling.

The man finally spoke, "I'm sorry."

The doctor quickly replied that it was not a problem.

Jin Yanzhou shifted his gaze and looked at the woman next to him. His eyes gradually became deep. After a while, he stood up with one hand in his pocket.

Ben was nervously staring at Shen Shuhe who was being treated by the doctor, when a voice suddenly floated past his ear: "Miss Shen, can you please spare me a moment to chat?"

Her brows twitched slightly, and when she turned around, the man had already walked out the door.

Chen Shuhe looked back at Jasmine before turning around and following her out...
