Tang Li nodded:
"Eat up, eat more, and talk less."
Tang Li got up after he finished eating:
"Aren't you in a meeting? I won't disturb you."
Huo Chenyu took the car keys:
"I'm done with my work, I'll go with you."
Tang Li expressed himself very tactfully:
"I have plans with Jingjiu tonight. Tomorrow is my first autograph session, and I have a lot to discuss with Jingjiu. Are you sure you want to come with me?"
Huo Chenyu pondered for a moment, then handed her the car keys:
"I suddenly remembered that a client is coming to the company this afternoon, so I won't see you off."
So easy to talk to?
Tang Li turned her head to look at him:
"Really not going to see me off?"
Huo Chenyu pressed down on her shoulders:
"I have something to do. I'll pick you up when I'm done."
Tang Li waved goodbye to him.
After leaving the office and entering the elevator, Yunxi called to ask:
Where are you? I'm coming to find you.
Tang Li checked the time:
"I'll come find you. I'll be there in about half an hour."
In fact, Tang Li arrived in just twenty minutes.
Yunxi greeted her at the door:
"If you keep speeding like that, you'll be exposed."
Tang Li chuckled:
"Haven't I exposed enough disguises already? One more won't make a difference. So, what do you want from me? You sound pretty urgent."
Yunxi took her to the tea room and gave her a cup of fine wine.
Tang Li pointed to her stomach, and Yun Xi pressed her forehead:
"Don't pretend in front of me, try it, it's a new product, you're the first to taste it."
Tang Li took a sip and showered her with compliments, to the point that Yunxi couldn't bear to listen anymore:
"Hold on, I have two big announcements, one about your father-in-law and the other about your future father-in-law. Which one would you like to hear first?"
Tang Li's rant:
"What the heck is my future father-in-law? At least at this moment, I'm not thinking about remarrying."
Yunxi joked:
"It was bound to happen sooner or later. I think President Lu is already deeply in love with you. The old man is probably back to try and bring you two together."
The more they talk, the more outrageous it gets!
Tang Li rolled her eyes at her:
"Let's get down to business, let's start with Old Master Sheng."
Yunxi opened her phone's photo album and placed it in front of her. Tang Li glanced at it and said:
“I’ve seen him in person. He has a full head of white hair and looks exactly like the photo.”
Yunxi knew, of course, that she had seen the real person, but what Yunxi wanted to say was:
Do you know why his hair turned white?
