Is that a coincidence?
For a writer who excels at writing about coincidences, every unexpected encounter is intentional.
"Excuse me, am I blocking your way?"
The long queue at Jinli Gate took up half the road.
Tang Li decisively gave up queuing. He could eat at Jinlimen anytime, but he couldn't afford any more scandals.
“Miss Tang, don’t you remember me? I am Song Beiye. We met last night.”
Seeing Tang Li move aside, Song Beiye gave a wink to the man standing next to him.
He then followed in Tang Li's footsteps:
"There's no time like the present. To thank Miss Tang for her hospitality last night, I'd like to treat her to a cup of milk tea. Would that be alright?"

After all, her status speaks for itself.
The phrase "married woman" is enough to deter any sensible person.
Song Beiye made no attempt to conceal his statement:
"Does Miss Tang believe in love at first sight, a love that lasts a lifetime?"
"I don't believe it."
That's such an outdated trick.
Tang Li wasn't buying it.
Song Beiye, however, had a look of delight on his face and said, "Miss Tang can be trusted now. I fell in love with Miss Tang at first sight and I will never forget her."

Tang Li looked up and stared directly into his eyes:
"It's better for men to fight openly and honestly. In the business world, the struggles and deceptions are based on strength. Regardless of the outcome, people are convinced. But a battle cannot compare to one's wife and children. If Mr. Song thinks that he can open a way to attack my husband through me, then he is very wrong. I, Tang Li, am not an incompetent person."
Directly point out his purpose.
I thought he would realize his mistake.
Unexpectedly, Song Beiye gave a thumbs up:
"Miss Tang has truly given me endless surprises. Please forgive me, Miss Tang, but I will not do anything presumptuous before I have won your heart."
Tang Li was furious:

Fearing Tang Li wouldn't answer, Song Beiye specifically explained:

Song Beiye pulled the man over:
