The two arrived at the door of VIP room 888, but were stopped by two burly security guards.
"Something is being handled inside; unauthorized personnel are not allowed to enter."
"I'm Captain Feng's man," Ye Feng said in a deep voice.
The two security guards hesitated for a moment, but then made way for them.
Ye Feng and Xu San entered the private room and found it in a mess, with broken glass scattered all over the floor and a strong smell of alcohol in the air.
Feng Xiaoqian was bowing and scraping as he poured wine and lit cigarettes for a man whose face was covered in blood. That man was none other than Brother Wolf.
Before Ye Feng could even look for Wu Dan, Wang Furong grabbed his arm.
He was about to speak when Wang Furong shook her head, signaling him not to.
He stood silently beside Wang Furong, observing his surroundings without making a sound.
A faint scent of perfume wafted from Wang Furong, making him feel somewhat uncomfortable.
He took a small step forward, blocking Wang Furong and protecting her behind him.
Wang Furong felt a warmth in her heart when she sensed Ye Feng's actions.
With a forced smile, Feng Xiaoqian apologized profusely, bowing and scraping as he said to Brother Wolf, "Brother Wolf, please forgive my rudeness. I will definitely give you an explanation for this matter."
Wang Furong looked at Feng Xiaoqian's obsequious manner with disdain.
The other party was just a thug, yet Feng Xiaoqian was so humble and subservient; it was truly shameful.
Wolf spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva and glared fiercely at Feng Xiaoqian. "Feng Xiaoqian, how do you manage this place? I haven't even had a chance to settle in before someone cracks my skull open!"
Feng Xiaoqian wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and said timidly, "Brother Wolf, I will definitely find out the truth and give you an explanation! May I ask, who was so blind as to dare to touch you?"
A slightly hoarse voice came from the crowd: "I did it."
Ye Feng's heart skipped a beat. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw Wu Dan being held down on the ground by two burly men, his face covered in bruises.
Wu Dan is calm and composed; he would never cause trouble unless it involves major issues.
There's definitely something wrong here.
"Which hand did this? I'll break that hand today!" Feng Xiaoqian asked viciously.
Wolf Brother's men also joined in the shouting and rolled up their sleeves.
"Stop it, all of you!"
Ye Feng roared angrily
Wolf Brother then noticed him, but soon his gaze was drawn to Wang Furong behind Ye Feng.
This girl is pretty hot.
Ye Feng shook his head slightly, signaling Wu Dan to remain silent.
He stepped forward, looked directly at Feng Xiaoqian, and asked in a deep voice, "I am the deputy captain of security. If something happens here, shouldn't you ask me first?"
Feng Xiaoqian smiled dismissively, "You've only been here a few days. Who gives you the right to speak here?"
Ye Feng insisted, "If something happens, I will naturally take care of it."
"Who do you think you are, putting on airs here?"
Feng Xiaoqian was completely enraged and pointed at Ye Feng's nose, cursing.
Several security guards surrounded Ye Feng, glaring at him angrily.
Even Wolf Brother looked at him, his gaze shifting back and forth between him and Wang Furong.
"Captain Feng, I see things aren't going well here. Do you need me to help out?"
Wolf is testing us, and also trying to sow discord.
Feng Xiaoqian immediately became alert. "Don't worry, Brother Wolf, it's a small matter. You don't need to bother."
He turned to Ye Feng and warned, "Captain Ye, for Furong's sake, I don't want to ruin our relationship. You go back and have a drink; I'll handle this."
Ye Feng smiled and said, "We can drink anytime, but it's better to deal with this trouble first."
Feng Xiaoqian's smile vanished, and his eyes turned cold.
"You won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences! You really don't know what's good for you!"
Ye Feng's calmness only made Feng Xiaoqian more annoyed.
He felt his authority was being challenged.
"Take him back!"
At Feng Xiaoqian's command, several of his men immediately rushed forward.
Seeing Feng Xiaoqian's arrogance, Wang Furong was about to speak when she saw Ye Feng had already made his move.
Ye Feng's move was as fast as lightning.
He dodged the first thug's attack by sidestepping and then punched the man in the abdomen with a backhand.
The man groaned and collapsed to the ground, curling up into a ball.
The second thug swung a punch at Ye Feng's head, but Ye Feng grabbed his wrist and twisted it. A "crack" was heard, and the sound of bones breaking was clearly audible.
The third one, the fourth one...
Ye Feng's movements were clean and efficient, without the slightest hesitation.
He quickly subdued all the thugs, who lay on the ground groaning in pain.
Wang Furong's heart finally settled down.
Ye Feng swiftly and decisively took down yet another thug who attempted a sneak attack, then stepped back a few paces to indicate that he meant no harm.
"We're all on the same side, why make things unpleasant? I'm here to solve problems, not to cause trouble. Making a scene will only make us a laughing stock."
Feng Xiaoqian's expression grew increasingly grim.
He hadn't expected Ye Feng to be so skilled; after just a few rounds, all of his men were lying on the ground.
His position appears to be threatened.
Seeing this, Wolf Brother chimed in at the opportune moment: "Harmony brings wealth, Captain Feng, let's all sit down and talk."
Feng Xiaoqian was caught in a dilemma and could only retreat to his seat with a gloomy face.
Wolf Brother turned his gaze to Ye Feng, "This young man looks unfamiliar, what's your name?"
"Xiao Ye," Ye Feng replied calmly.
"Xiao Ye, right? You're here today because..." Wolf Brother paused, then asked meaningfully, "What for?"
"Work," Ye Feng said succinctly.
