Ye Feng rubbed his temples and sighed.
"Keep investigating, we'll eventually find some clues."
When Ye Feng returned to the villa, Liu Qingyi was already waiting for him at the dining table.
"You're back? I made your favorite sweet and sour pork ribs today."
Liu Qingyi smiled gently and served him a bowl of rice.
Ye Feng casually remarked, "There's been a lot going on at the company lately, so I might be busy for a while."
Liu Qingyi put down her chopsticks and asked with concern, "Is it tiring?"
"It's alright." Ye Feng smiled. "Don't worry, I can take care of you."
Liu Qingyi's face instantly turned bright red, and she whispered, "It seems like I can't live without you anymore."
Ye Feng took her hand and gently squeezed it.
"Me too."
The next morning, Ye Feng and Xu Wu drove to the construction site.
At the entrance of the construction site, Old Wang was sitting in the security booth, holding a bottle of liquor in his hand, humming a little tune in a drunken stupor.
Ye Feng frowned and stepped forward.
"Old Wang, drinking so early in the morning?"
Old Wang squinted and let out a burp.
"Oh, Mr. Ye, you're here. Come on, have a drink with me."
Ye Feng waved his hand: "Let's get down to business. Do you have any leads on the theft at the construction site?"
Old Wang chuckled.
"Clues? Yes, of course." He leaned closer to Ye Feng mysteriously. "I'll take you to a place where someone knows the inside story. But whether you can get the clues depends on your own abilities."
Ye Feng and Xu Wu exchanged a glance, secretly overjoyed.
