She noticed the red wine on the table, and a look of surprise flashed in her eyes.
"What day is it today? Why is it so grand?" Liu Qingyi put down her bag and asked in confusion.
"It's nothing. I've just been too busy lately and haven't spent enough time with you. Consider this my apology."
Ye Feng looked at Liu Qingyi with tender eyes.
Liu Qingyi walked to the dining table, looked at the delicious food on the table, and smiled slightly.
"Wow, your career is thriving, and even your cooking has improved!" she teased.
Looking at Liu Qingyi's expression, Ye Feng tentatively asked, "Are things going smoothly at the company?"

Ye Feng felt as if something had struck his heart hard.

He turned to look at his side, where Liu Qingyi was curled up on the sofa, fast asleep.
Soft light shone on her face, and her long eyelashes cast a shadow under her eyelids, making her look exceptionally serene.

He carefully picked up Liu Qingyi, carried her to the bedroom, gently placed her on the bed, and covered her with a blanket.
Ye Feng returned to the living room, picked up his phone again, and dialed the unknown number back.
