Chapter 21 She's been to my bed

Sikong Jingyu raised an eyebrow slightly: "I just stated the facts and helped you, and you're blaming me instead?"

Shi Wan mumbled, "I dare not."

A mocking smile curved Sikong Jingyu's lips.

What do you mean you wouldn't dare? Her expression clearly shows she's blaming him.

After thinking it over, Shi Wan still spoke up to remind him: "Mr. Sikong, you know my current situation. I can't stand rumors. I hope you can be more careful with your words next time."

Is she in such a hurry to cut ties with him?

For her husband who wants to divorce her?

Sikong Jingyu smiled and said, "You overestimate yourself. Do you really think I, Sikong Jingyu, would cling to you like that?"

"..." Shi Wan was speechless.

Sikong Jingyu is right. He couldn't wait to divorce her, so why would he cling to her?

Shi Wan pursed her lips: "I'm sorry, I was overthinking it."

Sikong Jingyu chuckled softly: "Who do you think you are? Do you think I would go to such lengths to get involved with you?"

Shi Wan frowned: "I never thought that way. I know my own identity."

"Sikong, why are you talking to your benefactor like that!" Fu Siming tugged at Sikong Jingyu's arm, signaling him to stop talking nonsense.

Sikong Jingyu shook off Fu Siming's hand and glanced at him impatiently: "So you've been speaking up for her all this time because you've taken a liking to her?"

"Sikong, I'll get angry if you keep talking nonsense!"

Fu Siming admired his benefactor, but he knew better than to covet his friend's wife. He wasn't really angry; he was just worried that Sikong Jingyu might feel good about what he said now, but would end up chasing after him like a maniac later.

Fu Siming's conciliatory reaction made Sikong Jingyu think he was too late in taking a liking to her, which instantly made Sikong Jingyu even more displeased. His eyebrows furrowed in disgust: "Fu Siming, she's slept with me. Aren't you disgusted?"

The words were spoken so quickly that Fu Siming didn't even have time to cover Sikong Jingyu's mouth.

Shi Wan's face turned deathly pale instantly.

Fu Siming noticed that Shi Wan's face had turned pale, and quickly tried to smooth things over: "My benefactor, please don't mind him. He drank too much in the middle of the day and his mind isn't clear."

What did she do wrong to deserve being humiliated by Sikong Jingyu time and time again?

She didn't want to stand there and be humiliated anymore.

Shi Wan clenched her fists, her fingertips turning white, and gritted her teeth, saying, "I'll head back first. I'm very grateful for your help today. I won't offer to treat you to dinner, lest I disgust you."

When someone speaks like that at night, it means they're angry.

After saying that, Shi Wan turned and left.

"etc!"

As soon as Shi Wan took a step, Sikong Jingyu raised his foot to block her. He looked down at her and said in a cold tone, "I have another question."

Shi Wan clenched her fists and gritted her teeth: "Mr. Sikong, please speak."

Sikong Jingyu narrowed his eyes, his gaze fixed on Shi Wan as if trying to see into the depths of her soul, and said indifferently, "Why did you run away when you saw me? Were you feeling guilty?"

Shi Wan stood there, not saying a word for a moment.

Sikong Jingyu raised his lips and gradually approached Shi Wan, a hint of mockery in his eyes, and slowly said, "Or is it that you are hiding some unspeakable secret from me?"

These words made Shi Wan freeze, her breath catching in her throat.

She did indeed have a secret from him.

It's the kind of thing that can't be told to others.

Try to calm yourself down in the evening and avoid revealing your emotions.

Sikong Jingyu stared intently at Shi Wan's face, not missing a single emotion on her expression, but unfortunately...

I didn't see anything.

Was she hiding it too well?

Or is she really as open and honest as she appears on the surface?

Sikong Jingyu was very close to Shi Wan. Shi Wan could clearly feel the warm and cool breath that Sikong Jingyu was spraying on her ear. Shi Wan reflexively took two steps back to avoid him.

Sikong Jingyu frowned. She was so resistant to him!

I wish I could stay as far away from him as possible.

Shi Wan met Sikong Jingyu's gaze without flinching. Her eyes were clear, and her tone was steady: "It's not that I feel guilty. I just remember what Mr. Sikong said before, and I'm afraid I won't be able to explain it clearly, just like now."

He said something like that before?

Sikong Jingyu paused slightly, a complex light flashing in his eyes, his thin lips slowly parting: "Is that so?"

She avoided him and was wary of him, not because she disliked him, but because of what he said.

Shi Wan nodded and said, "If Mr. Sikong has nothing else, I'll take my leave now. Goodbye!"

It's best if we never see each other again!

"I have another question, what is Shi Yu to you?" Sikong Jingyu called out to her.

Shi Wan didn't turn around, and simply replied, "Family."

Upon hearing the word "family," Sikong Jingyu's eyes darkened. The same question yielded the same answer; it seemed her husband was indeed Shi Yu.

Ignoring Sikong Jingyu's reaction, Shi Wan strode away, her back view resolute, unwilling to linger even a moment longer.

Fu Siming looked at Shi Wan's retreating figure, shook his head and sighed. Si Kong had hurt her so badly; he'd have his share of tears later.

Turning to look at Sikong Jingyu, Fu Siming found that Sikong Jingyu was staring blankly in the direction Shi Wan had left, his eyes unreadable.

"Is your virginity really gone?" Fu Siming asked loudly.

There was no response.

Fu Siming asked again, "Was it broken by my benefactor?"

Sikong Jingyu withdrew her gaze, glanced indifferently at Fu Siming, and instead of answering, asked, "Fu Siming, I've noticed you're quite free?"

Seeing Sikong Jingyu's arrogant expression, Fu Siming knew he had guessed right. Fu Siming shrugged and said, "I'm busy. This is just me showing concern as a friend."

"As if I need it." Sikong Jingyu scoffed. After today's commotion, he lost his mood for boxing and left the club on his own.

Fu Siming caught up with Sikong Jingyu and put his arm around her shoulder: "Don't say I didn't teach you. Modern women are awakening. You can't keep bullying the girl you like like this."

Sikong Jingyu gave Fu Siming a cold look and pulled his hand away: "Who said I like her?"

"If you don't like her, then I can pursue her!" Fu Siming grinned mischievously.

Immediately, Fu Siming received a kick in the butt from Sikong Jingyu, who glared at him and said, "You dare!"

Fu Siming rolled his eyes: "Hmph... You said you didn't like me, but I tricked you into admitting it."

"I don't know if this counts as liking someone, but lately my emotions have been fluctuating because of her. I say I don't want to see her, but I can't help wanting to see her all the time."

Sikong Jingyu was silent for a moment, then added, "Besides, she's married."

Upon hearing this, Fu Siming was stunned and taken aback.

These two... both cheated on their partners!

Playing this big?

After a while, Fu Siming finally came to his senses. He couldn't help but pat Sikong Jingyu on the shoulder: "Brother, it's understandable that you didn't like women before, but now you finally do. But the first thing you do is like married women. That's exciting."

As he spoke, Fu Siming leaned closer to Sikong Jingyu and sighed softly, "I understand. Men always care a lot about their first woman. Sikong, could it be that your benefactor took your virginity, which is why you care so much about her? You don't actually like her that much?"
