After saying that, Nie Shirong helped Xu Weizhou onto the bed, then turned back to pull Shi Wan onto the bed as well.
With her hands bound, Shi Wan was no match for Nie Shirong's brute strength and had no chance to kick. As she was being dragged away, she said indifferently, "Nie Shirong, I advise you not to make another mistake!"
"I did nothing wrong, you're the one who's wrong!" Nie Shirong roared.
A mocking smile played on Shi Wan's lips. "You're not wrong? Then what are you doing here?"
“I…” Nie Shirong was speechless. Her current disheveled state was entirely due to Shi Wan.
"Don't make an irreparable mistake," Shi Wan said calmly, looking directly at Nie Shirong without a trace of fear in her eyes.
"I did nothing wrong!" Nie Shirong shouted, as if trying to convince herself.
A cold glint flashed in Shi Wan's eyes as she warned, "I already called the police before I came to the hotel. If you continue to be so stubborn, then no one can save you."
Upon hearing Shi Wan's words, Nie Shirong's expression changed drastically. She hurriedly composed herself and quickly regained her composure: "Don't try to fool me. If the police were capable of coming, they would have been here already. Once I take these photos of you in bed, let's see how you talk back then!"
Shi Wan laughed mockingly: "Nie Shirong, when did you become so naive? Do you think everyone will believe it just because of a bed photo?"
“People might not believe it if it were someone else, but you’re different. You’re Sikong Jingyu’s ex-wife. If you slept with Young Master Xu, everyone would believe it,” Nie Shirong said confidently.
"Then let's give it a try."
As they were talking, a series of urgent knocks sounded at the door. Shi Wan breathed a sigh of relief; the police had finally arrived!
Nie Shirong's expression changed, and her eyes showed fear. Could it be that Shi Wan really called the police?
Looking at the panicked and helpless Nie Shirong, Shi Wan smiled slightly and said, "Go open the door. I really called the police."
Hearing Shi Wan say this, Nie Shirong's face turned even paler. She hesitated whether to open the door or not, when suddenly, with a "bang," the door was kicked open from the outside.
Instead of the expected police, Sikong Jingyu rushed in, dressed in a hospital gown, his eyes filled with urgency. He headed straight for Shi Wan, completely lacking his usual demeanor as a person in a high position.
"I'm sorry, Wanwan, I'm late."
Shi Wan was taken aback. When she realized that the person who came was not a policeman but Sikong Jingyu, her expression changed slightly.
How did Sikong Jingyu find out she had been kidnapped?
Just as they were wondering what was going on, another group of people entered through the door, including Xu Wenya, whom Shi Wan had seen in the lobby earlier.
Did Xu Wenya call Sikong Jingyu over?
Seeing the doubt in Shi Wan's eyes, Xu Wenya explained, "This hotel belongs to the Xu family. When I saw you being tied up, I guessed you were probably in danger, so I immediately notified Sikong."
Shi Wan nodded slightly and sincerely thanked her, "Thank you."
Who did this to your face?
Upon seeing the red mark on Shi Wan's face, Si Kong Jingyu's eyes turned sinister for a moment, and he tenderly stroked Shi Wan's cheek.
Shi Wan slightly turned her head to avoid Sikong Jingyu's touch, raising her hand to block his. Her hand was immediately grasped tightly by Sikong Jingyu, his tone urgent, his eyes full of worry, as he pulled Shi Wan to check her over.
"Why is there blood on your clothes? Are you injured anywhere else?"
Shi Wan subconsciously glanced at the bloodstains on her clothes and arms before realizing Sikong Jingyu's worry; the blood must be Xu Weizhou's nosebleed.
Shi Wan shook her head and calmly explained, "Don't worry, the blood isn't mine."
Hearing Shi Wan say this, Sikong Jingyu gradually calmed down, glanced at Xu Weizhou and Nie Shirong in the room, and his gaze was sharp.
Receiving Sikong Jingyu's scrutinizing gaze, Nie Shirong's face flashed with panic, her expression turned deathly pale, and she froze on the spot, stammering, "Mr. Sikong!"
In a moment of desperation, Nie Shirong quickly shifted all the blame onto Xu Weizhou, pointing at him on the bed and disclaiming any responsibility: "Mr. Sikong, it was Young Master Xu who forced me to do it."
Sikong Jingyu glanced indifferently at the man on the bed, his eyes icy cold. He raised his hand to cover Shi Wan's eyes and said softly, "Wanwan, close your eyes. No matter what happens next, don't look."
Sikong Jingyu turned Shi Wan around, with his back to Xu Weizhou, untied the ropes binding Shi Wan's hands, and then rushed towards Xu Weizhou with the speed of the wind, his fist slamming down.
Hearing the commotion, Shi Wan turned around and saw Sikong Jingyu beating Xu Weizhou like a madman. Shi Wan quickly ran forward to stop him: "Sikong Jingyu, stop hitting him! If you keep hitting him, someone will die! I've already called the police, and they should be on their way."
Xu Weizhou had been beaten until blood was coming from his mouth, his face was bruised and swollen, and he was on the verge of death.
Shi Wan didn't want Sikong Jingyu to be burdened by someone's death!
Upon hearing Shi Wan's voice, Sikong Jingyu lowered his gaze, his expression softening slightly before turning his head and gently saying, "Wanwan, didn't I tell you not to look? I don't want you to remember my cruel appearance."
Turning to Xu Wenya, his voice was cold and stern: "Xu Wenya, take Wanwan out first."
Based on Xu Wenya's understanding of Sikong Jingyu, tonight's events will not end well.
Xu Wenya understood, stepped forward, and reached out to pull Shi Wan, saying, "Come out with me first."
Shi Wan gently pushed Xu Wenya's hand away, looked at Sikong Jingyu with a serious and solemn expression: "Sikong Jingyu, I said, stop hitting me!"
Sikong Jingyu's eyes softened, and he nodded gently: "Okay, we won't fight anymore. We'll do whatever Wanwan says."
Sun Yang rushed to the hotel room and saw the scene inside. He couldn't help but feel sorry for Xu Weizhou. This young master Xu was really stupid. He had been warned many times before, but he just wouldn't listen and insisted on provoking him!
The most valuable thing about a person is to know their own limitations. Is he someone that Xu Weizhou can afford to offend? Why can't he see this reality?
Xu Weizhou lay paralyzed on the bed, his face pale, his eyes slightly closed, and blood seeping from the corners of his mouth and nostrils, feeling as if his life hung by a thread.
Weakly opening his barely squinting eyes, Xu Weizhou gasped, "Mr. Sikong... please spare me... this was all instigated by that vile woman surnamed Nie. Otherwise, how could I have dared to do this?"
Sikong Jingyu's gaze swept over Nie Shirong, who was standing to the side, his eyes filled with malice.
Nie Shirong saw Sikong Jingyu staring coldly at her, his icy gaze seemingly able to pierce through her body and see into her very soul. Terrified, Nie Shirong trembled uncontrollably, stammering, "Mr. Sikong, it wasn't me! I didn't... Young Master Xu forced me!"
Xu Weizhou, panting heavily, said with difficulty, "She's talking nonsense about Mr. Sikong! You mustn't listen to her. It was Nie Shirong who instigated me. It was her idea to kidnap Shi Wan. I was out of my mind and believed her lies."
"No, it's Mr. Sikong, it's him! He's the one who harbors resentment towards you and wants to take revenge!" Nie Shirong explained anxiously.
Sikong Jingyu's face grew increasingly grim. Looking at Xu Weizhou, disheveled on the bed, a murderous glint flashed in his eyes. His thin lips parted slightly, his voice icy and chilling:
"I don't have time to watch you two fight like dogs. Who do you think will escape, you or her?"
