Chapter 100 Making Dumplings

"Zhizhi also loves Daddy very much. No matter who makes the dumplings, Daddy puts his heart and soul into them. Daddy is the greatest contributor!" Zhao Zhi quickly said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Zhao Shouzhen's lips involuntarily curled up, revealing a satisfied smile on his face.

He picked up the rolling pin again and skillfully rolled out dumpling wrappers, teasingly saying, "That little mouth of yours is really good at talking. Since I'm so important, you'd better eat a few more dumplings that your mother makes."

Zhao Zhi chuckled and slowly walked to Zhang Wan's side, stuffing a walnut kernel into her mouth. Then she quietly watched as Zhang Wan's fingers deftly flipped and turned the dumplings, one by one, until they took shape in her hands.

Her eyes were full of admiration as she whispered, "Mom, your cooking is amazing. Every dumpling is like a work of art."

Zhang Wan smiled, reached out and patted Zhao Zhi's head, and said, "Zhizhi, the key to delicious dumplings is the filling. The family sat around the table, laughing and chatting, as pots of steaming dumplings were served.

Zhao Zhi couldn't wait to pick up a dumpling, take a bite, and the delicious taste instantly spread in her mouth.

She squinted her eyes contentedly and said, "Mom's dumplings are definitely the best!"

While refilling her bowl, Shen Hanshan said in a pitiful voice in her ear, "Your Highness, the dumplings I made were also delicious, but I didn't get a single compliment!"

"The dumplings my husband makes are all in my heart. They taste different from my mother's," Zhao Zhi said softly, a blush rising on her face.

Zhao Shouzhen and Zhang Wan both laughed, and the family sat together, enjoying this simple and happy time.

As they were eating, Baozhu rushed in from outside to announce, "Master, Madam, Miss, Son-in-law—"

Zhao Zhi interrupted her, "Baozhu, forget about all the formalities, get to the point!"

"The important thing is, I've arrived." A gentle yet regal voice came from outside.
