Looking at Cui Jiao's face contorted in pain, Yun Shu felt no pity whatsoever.
He slowly reached out and grasped the nail embedded in Cui Jiao's hand, then pulled it out with a sudden, forceful yank. As the nail was pulled out, it brought with it a string of beads of blood and torn flesh, causing Cui Jiao to let out a piercing scream.
However, Yun Shu did not stop. He slowly raised the nail and plunged it deep into the bone of Cui Jiao's other hand once more. Cui Jiao's body trembled violently from the excruciating pain, but she still gritted her teeth and refused to reveal any information about the whereabouts of the true jade seal.
"My dear Jiaojiao, tell me quickly, where exactly did Yunling hide the real jade seal?" Yun Shu's voice was calm and cold, as if he were discussing something trivial with Cui Jiao.
"I...I don't know..." Cui Jiao's lips trembled as she managed to squeeze out these words. Her face was as pale as paper, and her forehead was covered in cold sweat; she was clearly on the verge of collapse from the torment.

Yun Shu's eyes seemed to hold a fire, and that fire would eventually burn Cui Jiao.

At that moment, Cui Shenghe's heart was completely filled with anger and grief.
"Yun Shu—" he forced out the two words through clenched teeth, suddenly spitting out a mouthful of blood. His body then fell straight backward.
"Brother!" Zhao Zhi exclaimed in surprise and quickly hugged Cui Shenghe in her arms.
After a long, long time, just when Zhao Zhi felt her heart was about to stop beating, Cui Shenghe finally slowly opened his eyes. Looking at Zhao Zhi, his eyes were filled with deathly stillness.
"Brother." Seeing him awake, Zhao Zhi hesitated, then asked, "What...what did you see?"
"Zhizhi, let's go find the Imperial Seal." Cui Shenghe slowly wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said blankly.
