Li Ye was carried into the house by four beauties, his face flushed and at a loss for what to do.
He tried to break free, but was instead held tightly by Jiu Hua and the others, and the atmosphere suddenly became both tense and ambiguous.
"General, do not be afraid. We only wish to share a drink with you to celebrate this joyous occasion." Jiu Hua's eyes were alluring, and her voice was soft.
Qingtang then handed over a cup of fine wine with a smile, "General, this wine was brewed by our own hands and is called 'Four Seasons of Fragrance'. Please enjoy it."
Li Ye awkwardly accepted the wine glass, thinking to himself, "This is no celebration, it's clearly a 'trap'!" But faced with four beautiful women, he couldn't refuse, so he had no choice but to bite the bullet and drink it.
After a few rounds of drinks, Li Ye gradually relaxed. Now quite drunk, Li Ye embraced four beauties on either side and began chatting and laughing with them, discussing current events and anecdotes from the martial arts world.
The four of them would sometimes cover their mouths and chuckle, and sometimes raise their glasses in celebration, gradually creating a pleasant atmosphere in the room.
It was late at night, and Li Ye's eyes were blurry with drunkenness.
He looked at the four beauties in front of him, shook his head vigorously, and felt as if he were dreaming, it was so unreal.
"General, you are injured and cannot drink anymore," Jiu Hua said softly.
Li Ye nodded and was helped to the bed by the four beauties.
Of the four, Jiu Hua held the highest rank in the palace. Xi Wu and the other two did not compete with her for favor. They all silently withdrew and returned to their respective rooms to rest, leaving Jiu Hua and Li Ye to spend the night alone.
Jiu Hua gently closed the door and turned to help Li Ye undress.
"I... I can do it myself," Li Ye said, hurriedly tucking in the clothes that Jiu Hua had torn open.
Jiu Hua chuckled softly, tiptoed to kiss his flushed face, and said gently, "General, you'll have to get used to being served by your concubines from now on."
Li Ye's heart began to race involuntarily.
He awkwardly avoided Jiu Hua's gentle gaze.
Seeing this, Jiu Hua's eyes flashed with a mischievous light. She gently loosened Li Ye's collar, slowly wrapped her hands around his waist, and gently untied his belt.
Li Ye felt a warm current flow from his waist to his heart, and his lower abdomen involuntarily tightened.
"General, let me serve you." Jiu Hua's voice grew gentler, and her movements became softer.
Looking at Jiu Hua's face so close to his, Li Ye felt a surge of heat rise in his lower abdomen. He gently grasped Jiu Hua's hand and stammered, "Jiu Hua, you miss me, I miss you..."
However, before he could finish speaking, Jiu Hua gently pressed his index finger to his lips, smiled, and shook his head.
"General, let me help you undress first." Li Ye had already been stripped down to only a sweaty undergarment.
"Aunt Jiuhua, the hot soup is here." A servant's voice came from outside.
Jiu Hua opened the door and gestured for the servant to bring in the wooden bucket and hot soup.
Li Ye sat shyly in the wooden tub, her eyes tightly closed, as Jiu Hua's slender fingers ran through her hair, gently washing her with soap.
Even though it was already late autumn, Li Ye felt a burning fire inside her body.
"General, don't be shy. From now on, you'll have to get used to me serving you like this." Jiu Hua gently rubbed his body with soap.
Her fingers gently glided across Li Ye's skin, sending a slight shiver through him.
Li Ye felt his body gradually heating up, a feeling he had never experienced before spreading through him. He slightly opened his eyes and saw Jiu Hua's focused face and those tender eyes.
"General, you are a brave and fearless soldier on the battlefield, so why do you seem so shy in this little wooden tub?"
Jiuhua smiled broadly, her eyes filled with both playfulness and tenderness.
Li Ye lowered his head in embarrassment.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm his inner turmoil, but felt the fire burning even brighter.
He secretly opened his eyes and saw Jiu Hua's beautiful face so close to his, her eyes full of tenderness and love.
Seeing him like this, Jiu Hua was even more delighted.
She knew Li Ye had a back injury and was very careful not to get water on his wound.
To Li Ye, Jiu Hua's deliberately cautious actions seemed more like an attempt to entice his soul.
"General, are you really shy?" Jiu Hua asked softly.
"No, no."
Li Ye's body tensed, his eyes were tightly closed, his cheeks flushed, and an indescribable flutter of emotion welled up in his heart.
Jiu Hua helped him out of the wooden tub and carefully wiped him clean with a cotton cloth.
The two were very close, and Li Ye could clearly hear Jiu Hua's soft, fragrant breathing.
"General, it's late, you should rest early."
Jiu Hua's voice was somewhat delicate, and Li Ye felt his heart race, unable to look her in the eye.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
By this time, Jiu Hua had already made the bed neatly. She gently patted the edge of the bed, signaling Li Ye to lie down.
Li Ye lay on the bed with his hands and feet clasped together, his heart pounding like a drum.
Jiu Hua changed into her nightgown, blew out the candlestick, gently leaned on his shoulder, and sincerely thanked him.
"General, I am extremely grateful to you for risking your life to rush into the fire and rescue Miss Song."
Her words were like a bucket of cold water, instantly extinguishing the fire that was stirring in Li Ye's heart.
He grunted in a muffled "hmm" and said in a deep voice, "Rest now."
The next day.
The morning light filtered softly through the sheer curtains, gently bathing the room.
Li Ye rubbed his sleepy eyes and slowly sat up.
He felt a soft breath beside him. Only then did he remember that four imperial concubines had arrived at the General's Mansion yesterday. The one lying next to him was Jiu Hua.
