Chapter 72 Dog Egg is actually!

The disciples were in an uproar.

Someone exclaimed in surprise, "Qi Yu is a witch? What does that mean? Could she really be a demonic cultivator?!"

Xiao Baichi, standing in the crowd, sneered, "Flies don't land on eggs without cracks. This isn't the first time Qi Yu has been involved with demons and demonic cultivators. I think she definitely has something to do with herself!"

"Indeed, how could a Nascent Soul stage cultivator admit to being wrong?"

Zhao Daming nodded repeatedly, "I don't think Qi Yu is a good person! Junior Sister Shen is always bullied by her! Right, Junior Sister?"

Standing next to Zhao Daming, Xu Shengsheng looked at Qi Yu with a complicated expression, pursing her lips and remaining silent.

Qi Yu was repeatedly identified as a demonic cultivator, so the disciples couldn't help but stand further away from her.

While being choked, Wan Jiayu struggled and protested, "This Qi Yu is really not that witch. Even Master Dingfeng said she isn't!"

Master Dingfeng stepped down from the hall, frowning as he said, "Elder Li, the matter has not been investigated thoroughly yet, so let's not rush to make a decision."

Li Daogu remained unmoved, staring at Qi Yu with a gloomy gaze.

Qi Yu clenched his fists slightly. Seeing that Wan Jiayu was about to be strangled to death, he shouted, "Elder, I don't know what you're talking about, but you, a Nascent Soul cultivator, slaughtering your own disciple in public like this, aren't you no different from that cruel witch you speak of!"

Li Daogu paused, looked at Wan Jiayu whose face had turned blue from holding his breath, and threw him aside roughly. "Go back and I'll hold you accountable."

Wan Jiayu collapsed to the ground, clutching her neck and breathing heavily.

"Where were you on the night of March 16th?" Li Daogu clapped his hands and asked Qi Yu.

March 16th was the day she turned the tables on Ang Lee.

Qi Yu said calmly, "So many days have passed, I really can't remember. Why is Elder Li so concerned about the whereabouts of a mere disciple like me?"

Li Daogu gathered a terrifying spiritual power in his hand and stared at her intently, saying, "I'll give you one more chance. On the night of the sixteenth of March, where were you? Did you encounter anyone or do anything?"

Zhao Daming stroked his chin and said, "March 16th... isn't that the day An Rong'er encountered a demon, and Qi Yu went to save her but was falsely accused instead..."

A voice suddenly came from the roof beam. Zhu Que, dressed in a crimson brocade robe, was completely unaffected by the tense atmosphere below and said leisurely, "On the sixteenth of March, I did run into Qi Yu."

Everyone looked up and realized that Zhu Que had been hiding on the roof beam watching all along.

Qi Yu glanced at Zhu Que and, seeing that he didn't intend to expose her, felt slightly relieved.

She said with some distress, "I remember now. That night, after Prince Zhu and I dealt with the demon that wanted to eat An Rong'er, we went our separate ways. Why is Elder Li asking about this?"

"Hmph, you won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences." Li Daogu squinted and said, "On March 16th, my son Li An went out to capture the witch who framed my disciple Wang Yaoshi. When he was discovered the next day, he had already been driven to madness by the evil witch and had lost one of his legs."

"I have heard of this disciple. May I ask if your son is well?"

"Very good!" Li Daogu's eyes grew even fiercer. "Do you know what those two words are that An'er keeps repeating every day since he became mentally impaired?"

Qi Yu watched as the spiritual power in his hand grew increasingly terrifying, while behind his back, he gently pinched a slightly thick jade piece.

"What is it?" she asked with a smile.

"Qi Yu!"

With those two furious words uttered, Li Daogu fiercely swung the ball of spiritual energy in his hand toward Qi Yu.

Qi Yu stared intently at the spiritual energy. Just as she was about to crush the jade piece in her hand, a slender figure suddenly rushed over and blocked her way.

"puff--!"

A mouthful of blood splattered.

Qi Yu stared blankly at Gou Dan lying on top of her. Gou Dan's eyes were hazy, a glint of crimson light flashing within them. He coughed up blood and weakly said, "Sister... I said... I could protect you too..."

Qi Yu's hands trembled as she tried to take out the wound medicine, but Gou Dan stopped her.

He shook his head and said, "Sister, let's go!"

"Hmph? A bewitching witch, actually making people willing to die for you!" Li Daogu looked at them with a sinister gaze, and another wisp of spiritual energy slowly condensed in his hand. "Then let me see how long you can last!"

Gou Dan struggled to his feet, his eyes resolute, as if fire were burning within them. His forehead was burning hot. He took out the sword that Qi Yu had given him and roared as he charged toward Li Daogu.

Li Daogu delivered another dismissive blow, "Ha, overestimating yourself."

Blood continued to gush from Gou Dan's mouth. The thin boy stood in front of Qi Yu, saying intermittently, "Sister, you, you have to go!"

Qi Yu looked at Gou Dan in front of her, feeling boundless anger burning away her reason.

escape?

Or will I die here?

The fearful gazes of the onlookers seemed to strip her naked, completely negating her as a person.

She summoned the Sword of Compassion and walked step by step toward Li Daogu.

Li Daogu smirked, “Dean Wu, your disciple Qi Yu brutally murdered my pharmacist Wang Li a few days ago, and then used evil magic to make my son mentally impaired. Such an evil witch, it's not too much for me to help you clean house, is it?”

Wu Rouwan frowned and remained silent.

She had already suspected this before, and now that her suspicions were confirmed, even if she wanted to protect Qi Yu, Li Daogu would not agree.

Seeing that she didn't answer, Li Daogu laughed even more wildly.

"Qi Yu, today is the day you will die without a burial place!"

He unleashed several bursts of spiritual energy, attacking Qi Yu.

Qi Yu gritted her teeth and swung her sword to shatter the spiritual energy attack, but a large portion of it still hit her.
