Chapter 4: Eyes Can't See

Qin Nanjing called Nanny Yan again.

She was the personal nanny assigned to Qin Nanjing by Old Lady Qin when she got married. She had been with the old lady for more than forty years and was someone she could trust.

"Madam Yan, go to the Qin Mansion and get a few maids and servants over. Find an excuse to replace the ones outside."

Qin Nanjing was brought up to be gentle and virtuous, and she is not competitive.

Hu was the first to enter the family and has been in charge of the household affairs of the mansion.

After she entered the family, she never mentioned this matter to her mother-in-law. Mrs. Hu was still in charge, and she just helped out from time to time.

Therefore, all the servants in the house, big and small, except for a few maids in the inner courtyard and a nanny brought from her mother's home, were arranged by Hu.

"Why do you suddenly want to change people?" Nanny Yan was puzzled.

Those in the hospital have been using it for several years.

With the mother-like Mammy by my side, the fatigue I had felt earlier suddenly swept over my body.

Qin Nanjing collapsed at the head of the bed. She glanced at the little guy sleeping on his side and her eyes couldn't help but turn red again.

"Mammy, this mansion... doesn't seem to be what we see..."

She and Hu's sister-in-law have been close friends for more than ten years. If what she said in her heart is true.

So what kind of den of wolves has she been living in all these years!

"Have you found out what happened this morning?" Nanny Yan immediately said angrily, "Who is it? I'll go back and ask the old master to make the decision for the young lady!"

"Not yet. Don't let your parents know what's happening here. They are old and can't stand being scared." Qin Nanjing warned.

"Okay. I'll do it right away." Nanny Yan didn't ask any more questions.

She knew that the only girl in the Qin family, although seemingly weak, was actually a person with her own ideas.

After avoiding possible risks, Qin Nanjing was finally able to close her eyes and rest for a while.

Afternoon.

"Mother...Mother..., we are back. Where is my sister? I want to see her."

There was a cheer outside, and a young man pushed open the door and jumped in like a firecracker.

"Young master, please speak softly. The young lady just finished her meal and fell asleep. Don't wake her up." Luo Kui reminded in a low voice.

This little firecracker belongs to the third son of the eldest branch of the Marquis’s Mansion, Rong Yuanyou.

He is seven years old this year. He is round and chubby and very cute.

He is lively, doesn't like studying, doesn't have much brains, and his biggest hobbies are eating, drinking and having fun.

He built up his body bit by bit.

Qin Nanjing's biggest headache is this child.

Only his father could control him, and he was often beaten and scolded.

Rong Yuanyou immediately covered his mouth, leaned forward to look inside, and asked in a low voice:

"Mom, can I go in and see my sister?"

Qin Nanjing looked at the little head sticking out, couldn't help but sneer and waved.

Rong Yuanyou walked in quietly, like a little mouse.

At this time, an older young man walked in.

He held onto the door frame, stepped over the threshold, and took each step very carefully.

"Second Master, let this servant help you."

Mingxia dropped the feather duster in his hand and hurried forward to support him.

The young man has skin as white as snow, thick eyebrows and eyelashes, deep and attractive eyes, and slightly raised red lips.

There was nothing wrong with that face.

This is the second son, Rong Yubai, who is twelve years old this year. He is beautiful and elegant, and has the demeanor of a gentleman at such a young age.

Just his looks alone are enough to make countless noble ladies in the capital fall in love with him.

At the age of nine, he had talent that surpassed that of a scholar and was so amazing that he was originally going to take part in the provincial examination.

Who knew...

That year, I woke up from a nightmare and lost all feeling in my lower body. I couldn't speak clearly and my mental state was declining.

Today, despite daily acupuncture and medication, he can barely stand up and walk a few steps.

But his speech and brain were still not clear.

His current thinking is not as good as that of seven-year-old Rong Yuanyou.

Everyone outside calls him a fool.

Fortunately, Rong Yuanyou loved his brother very much and protected him every day, so he was not bullied.

"No need... I... can..." Rong Yubai slowly moved to the inner room, "Mom..."

"Hey... come slowly..."

Although he had difficulty walking, he worked extremely hard.

Qin Nanjing couldn't help but have tears in her eyes every time she saw her eldest son.

Rong Yuanyou first glanced at his sister, and when he heard his second brother's voice, he immediately turned around and helped him sit down on the bed.

Then he lay down beside the cradle again.

"Mom, you've worked so hard... You don't look well."

Although Rong Yuanyou is a bad boy outside, he treats his family very well.

Although he often talks back at his father, he is an extremely filial child.

Qin Nanjing's eyes were filled with smiles.

"I'm a little tired today, but I'll be fine if I take a good rest."

Then he hid his smile and said in a serious tone,

"Why are you back so early today? Did you skip class again?"

She knew that her youngest son did not like studying, and she did not expect him to bring honor to the family. She just wanted him to live a peaceful life.

This huge family business will easily support him for the rest of his life.

“No, no…”

Rong Yuanyou saw his sister moving her hands, and suddenly covered her mouth and continued to explain in a whisper.

"My second brother wanted to come back to see my sister, so I sent him back."

Anyway, my second brother won’t explain, so just push it all onto him.

"I... I didn't..." Rong Yubai said these two words with difficulty and then stopped talking.

He saw Rong Chaoxi open her eyes, "Sister... eyes..."

All three of them looked towards the cradle.

The little guy's eyes rolled around as if he was looking around.

Those round eyes like black grapes looked particularly big on her little face, and she looked very much like Qin Nanjing.
