Chen Nian'an didn't even want to explain anything anymore. She pulled away Gu Boyan's arm that was still around her waist, took a step back, and placed his big hand in her palm.
Gu Boyan looked at her in confusion.
"Just go buy two more books, Mr. Gu."
Chen Nian'an covered his hand with his other hand and patted the back of Gu Boyan's hand with earnest words, like an elder.
