Wei Jianzhong first quickly glanced at the cellar door in the yard. Seeing that the iron door was still tightly closed, he felt relieved a lot.
He quietly approached the main room and saw that it was brightly lit and the voices of a man and a woman could be heard from inside.
Two figures were entangled in the window.
Wei Jianzhong's face suddenly turned as dark as iron.
"Take it off, I'll help you..." Liu Sisi's charming voice.
"Mrs. Liu, please let go of my hand. I can't breathe..." a young man's voice.
Okay, Liu Sisi, I raised you with all my heart, and you cheated on me!
Wei Jianzhong felt his blood rushing up and his head dizzy. He gritted his teeth and kicked the door open with a bang.
I saw Liu Sisi and a man rolling on the bed.
Liu Sisi's pair of delicate hands were still tightly hooked around the man's neck.
"Liu Sisi, you bitch!" Wei Jianzhong roared, pulled out a knife and chopped it on the bed.
The two people on the bed hugged each other tacitly and rolled to the side to avoid it.
"Master, please spare me and let me explain!" Liu Sisi screamed.
"He is just my cousin who came to Beijing to take the imperial examination!" Liu Sisi made up a story in a panic.
"Hahaha!" Wei Jianzhong stood still with his sword in hand, looking at Liu Sisi with a sneer.
"Your cousin?!"
"Yes, my cousin. I just wanted to help him wipe the wine off his robe." Liu Sisi said in a crying voice.
"You were sold into a brothel at the age of 8, and I bought you back to the capital at the age of 18. Where did your relatives come from?"
"Is this your cousin who appeared out of nowhere?" Wei Jianzhong took a deep breath, raised his knife and chopped again.
"Ah..." There was only a scream of a woman who was extremely frightened, and the sound in the house stopped abruptly.
Looking inside the house again, Wei Jianzhong, Liu Sisi and Dongfang Lingyun had all fainted.
Two gatekeepers outside the courtyard were putting their ears against the door and listening attentively.
"So the master is here to catch an adulterer today?" Wei Daniu said in a low voice.
"Huh? Why is there suddenly no sound?" Wei Dali looked confused.
"Do you want to go in and take a look?" Wei Dali asked Wei Daniu.
"Are you stupid? The master is catching his wife cheating. Are we going in to wait for him to kill us?" Wei Daniu glared at the other person.
"The sound is gone. Maybe they did it on purpose. They don't want to make the ugly thing known to others."
"You are just ignorant. The richer the family, the more they care about face." Wei Daniu rolled his eyes in disdain.
In the courtyard, the second prince came into the house swiftly, stretched out his hand to pull Dongfang up, carried him to the courtyard, and scooped a bucket of cold water from the water tank and poured it on Dongfang's head.
"Hmm..." Dongfang murmured softly and opened his eyes.
"I'm still alive?" Dongfang looked at the second prince in confusion.
"Of course they're still alive. I just sprayed the room with smoke. Now they're both down."
Dongfang's brows immediately relaxed when he heard this.
"My guess was right. The cellar at the bottom is full of gold, silver and treasures." The second prince whispered.
Dongfang patted the Second Prince's shoulder with joy: "You are really amazing!"
The second prince had no time to brag. He found two ropes from the yard and asked Dongfang to help him tie Liu Sisi and Wei Jianzhong tightly to the chair.
Then he came to the yard again, took out a flare, and shot it into the sky with a whoosh.
The flare exploded into a golden flower in the dark night sky.
"What are they doing?" Wei Dali looked up at the flowers from the flares exploding in the sky and asked blankly.
"Do you want to go in and take a look?"
Wei Daniu was so angry that his eyes bulged and he raised his hand and hit Wei Dali hard on the head.
"What did the master order?! We are not allowed to go in unless he gives the order!"
"You keep clamoring to go in. What do you want to do? What on earth do you want to do?" Wei Daniu stared at his companion fiercely.
Wei Dali lowered his head and murmured, "One moment he was silent. The next moment he was suddenly fiddling with that flower. I'm just curious."
"Brother, what were they doing just now?" Wei Dali smiled, pointed his index finger upwards, and looked up at Wei Daniu.
"Those are fireworks, fireworks set off by rich people, do you understand?!" Wei Daniu looked proud.
"Maybe the master regretted his decision again and set off some fireworks to appease his wife."
A quarter of an hour later, the second prince's confidant, along with Xia Zhengqi's 30 secret guards, surrounded the outer residence in Tongluo Lane.
The secret guards came in one after another and tied up all the servants in the mansion.
When the secret guards ran to the west courtyard gate and put knives on the necks of Wei Daniu and Wei Dali, the two were still immersed in their bragging and had not come to their senses.
"I understand. You are the helpers that Lord Wei recruited from the Imperial Guards, right?" Wei Dali suddenly showed a happy smile.
"Lord Wei is in there, and the adulterer is in there too, go catch them!"
The leading secret guard ignored him and ordered sternly: "Tie him up and gag him."
Wei Daniu glared at Wei Dali with dismay: "You idiot!"
Wei Dali looked at the secret guards with a puzzled look on his face: "My Lords, you must have made a mistake. We are in the same group. You are here to catch an adulterer, and we two brothers are here to guard the door..."
Before he could finish his words, a piece of rag was stuffed into Wei Dali's mouth.
When the second prince heard the sound, he immediately opened the bolt and let the secret guards in.
When they broke into the house, Wei Jianzhong and Liu Sisi were still leaning on the chairs and sleeping.
"Knocked out?" The leading secret guard gave the second prince a questioning look.
