Chapter 20 I'll Kick You to Death

The Queen Mother had a complicated expression when she looked at him. He couldn't understand the emotions in her expression before, but now he understood.

That was definitely not the look a mother gives her child.

"Let me ask you again, if I were framed by a traitor and they used my will to order you to commit suicide, would you do it?"

The prince clasped his hands and said, "Father is the sovereign, and I am the subject. If the sovereign wishes me to die, I must die."

The emperor was so angry that he almost vomited blood.

He stood up, held Yu Yiluo in his arms, walked to the prince, and kicked him.

"That's what I taught you." He raised his hand and pointed at the prince who had returned to his kneeling position. "Don't you know this is foolish filial piety? You're so sure the will is real or fake without even checking? If you commit suicide like this, won't you be letting the traitor succeed?"

"Your Majesty, calm down."

Seeing the emperor about to kick the crown prince again, Eunuch Cao stepped forward and advised, "Be careful not to hurt the little princess."

The emperor snorted coldly before retracting his foot.

"If I hadn't been holding Luo Luo, I would have kicked you to death. It seems you're trying to piss me off to death. Go back and write the words Foolish Filial Piety to me until you understand."

Even when Yu Yiluo was being held in his arms, she could feel the emperor's chest heaving with anger.

I smiled in my heart with an unkind smile.

"Isn't this all thanks to the good teacher you found? You should be thankful that you didn't teach the Crown Prince the wrong way. Actually, the Crown Prince is quite strong in other areas. If he can correct his mistakes, he'll definitely be a better emperor than you."

The prince glanced at his father inconspicuously and found that the other party had no reaction.

Then he looked away.

If the emperor had heard such brazen words, he would have thrown my younger sister out long ago.

Fortunately, I can hear it myself.

"I know I'm wrong. I'll write it down when I get back." The prince had a very good attitude in admitting his mistake.

The emperor nodded in satisfaction and finally let him stand up.

This time, Yu Yiluo saw the prince's appearance clearly. He was wearing a white gold brocade robe, had a tall figure, black hair tied up high, fair skin, and clear and gentle eyebrows and eyes, giving people a feeling of being bathed in the spring breeze.

Seeing that the prince stood up and was not about to leave, the emperor glanced at him and asked, "Anything else?"

If he pleaded for the Queen again, he would give Luo Luo to Eunuch Cao and continue kicking the Prince.

"I want to hug my sister," the Crown Prince asked tentatively, "May I?"

Since he could hear the imperial sister's thoughts, she was special to him, so he should naturally get close to her.

"Hold her," the emperor reluctantly handed Yu Yiluo to him, thinking that it was all thanks to your royal sister, otherwise you would still recognize your enemy as your mother.

"Be careful not to hurt her."

The prince took it very carefully. Looking at the giggling Yu Yiluo, the corners of his mouth could not help but rise, and his voice could not help but lower, "I am the crown prince's brother, and the royal sister is really beautiful."

Yu Yiluo giggled a few more times and raised her hand to touch the prince's face which was so close to her.

[As expected of a white moonlight-like existence, not only does she have a pleasant voice, but she also has a good temper. Don't worry, I'm here to make sure you don't die.]

The emperor standing by had a sullen face and was feeling very unhappy.

Look at the little guy giggling when being held by the prince.

The little guy has nothing good to say about him. He either makes up stories about how miserable he is or pokes at his sore spots.

He has completely different faces from how he treats the prince. I really regret that I didn't kick the prince enough just now.

The more the prince looked at Yu Yiluo, the more he liked her. Thanks to the imperial sister, he knew her life experience. He went back to find out whether it was true or not.

"Father, may I take my younger sister to the Eastern Palace for some fun? I will personally take her back to Concubine Li's palace later."

The emperor refused without thinking.

"Have you done what I asked you to do? Do you have time to take care of Luo Luo?"

He held Yu Yiluo in his arms and continued, "Hurry back and write for me."

......

The virtuous concubine asked someone to keep an eye on the prince's movements and report to her as soon as there was any news.

"Your Majesty, the people who are keeping an eye on the Crown Prince are here." Haitang whispered beside Concubine Xian.

"Send someone in."

She sat up straight and glanced at the young eunuch who came in from outside.

"Tell me, what's going on?"

Now that the queen has been put in solitary confinement, there is no chance of her coming out again.

"Your Majesty, the Crown Prince did not plead for the Empress. Instead, he did something to displease the Emperor and was kicked out of the Imperial Study."

The virtuous concubine was expecting good news, but upon hearing these words, she stared at the young eunuch with sharp eyes.

"What did you say?"

The young eunuch repeated his words in a trembling voice.

Haitang gave him some change and asked him to leave.

Why doesn’t the prince ask the emperor to release the queen?

The virtuous concubine tapped her nail-painted fingers on the small table, feeling as if something was out of her control.

"Your Majesty, since the Crown Prince has displeased the Emperor, it may not be a bad thing. As for the Empress, you can take your time."

Come to think of it, Concubine Xian picked up a piece of dessert, then suddenly remembered something, put it down again, and asked lightly.

"Yang Xin returned to the Third Prince's Mansion?"

Haitang nodded, "I've already gone back. The Third Prince refused to choose a concubine for her. Why did Your Majesty..."

Xian Fei continued her words, "You want to know why I still keep her, right? I advise you to put away your little thoughts."

She was indeed angry at first, but now she understood that it was not easy to control the third prince, but it was easy to control Yang Xin.

Haitang pursed her lips, her thoughts seen through. She truly loved the Third Prince, and she was also jealous of Yang Xin, who was treated differently by him, and she wished she would disappear.

"Yang Xin is capable of making the Third Prince listen to her, so how could I get rid of her? With her around, even if the Third Prince is unwilling to do something, he will have no choice but to let me control him for her sake."
