Chapter 117: Forget That Bastard (2/2)

Song Xingyu hummed, and before hanging up the video, she said, "Brother, since you have a girlfriend, bring her home to meet grandma."

"You are indeed not young anymore, and Brother He Chi is already married. Don't worry, after you get married, my sister-in-law and I will definitely get along well and will never cause you any trouble."

Seeing Song Xingjin frown in the video, Song Xingyu seemed to know what he was going to say next and quickly hung up the phone, "Brother, grandma seems to be calling me, bye."

As a brother and sister who grew up together, how could Song Xingjin not know that this was her excuse.

Putting the phone back on the stand, Song Xingjin thought for a moment and suddenly explained, "I really didn't go on a blind date."

Hearing his serious tone, Zhang Qiao almost couldn't hold back her laughter.

Oh my god, this man is so funny.

Zhang Qiao suppressed the corner of her mouth and said, "Mr. Song, this is your private matter. You don't need to explain it to me."

There seemed to be nothing wrong with what she said, and Song Xingjin didn't know what had happened to him that he actually explained this to Zhang Qiao.

He said nothing, pursed his lips, started the car and left.

......

When He Chi carried Jiang Yining out of the car, he saw her long eyelashes fluttering slightly, so he asked her, "Are you awake?"

A familiar handsome face came into view. Jiang Yining rubbed his chest to feel at ease, hummed softly, and continued to sleep.

After returning home, He Chi put her on the bed, went to the cloakroom to get her pajamas to change into, and got some water to help her wipe herself briefly.

Seeing Jiang Yining sleeping soundly, He Chi stood by the bed for a while, then went to the bathroom to take a shower.

He turned on the shower and the cold water soaked him all over.

He Chi turned off the water halfway through his shower, and he was puzzled.

He muttered to himself, "Who is it? Yang Hui?"

It definitely wasn’t Yang Hui. He could see that his wife treated Yang Hui as just an ordinary colleague.

Jiang Yining doesn’t have many male friends around her. Could they be her former high school classmates?

If they were high school classmates, Teacher Lin would probably know about it, but Teacher Lin never mentioned it at all.

I calculated the time, but it doesn’t seem to match. Could they be college classmates?

He Chi turned on the shower again in a distracted manner, squeezed some of Jiang Yining's usual shower gel and washed himself casually.

When he lay down on the bed, Jiang Yining just turned over and faced him.

He Chi supported his head with his hands and looked down for a long time. When he heard Jiang Yining talking in his sleep, he moved over.

Zhang Qiao and Jiang Yining grew up together, so what she said to him tonight was probably the truth.

But He Chi still wanted to confirm, so he approached Jiang Yining and was about to speak when he saw Jiang Yining slowly open his eyes.

She probably wanted to go to the bathroom.

He Chi helped her go to the bathroom. When he came back, while Jiang Yining was still dazed, he asked, "Wife, did you have a secret crush on someone before?"

Jiang Yining put his arms around his waist and nodded softly.

After receiving a vague answer, He Chi was not giving up and asked twice more, and both times he heard Jiang Yining just "hmm".

He Chi suddenly wanted to slap himself twice. He wanted to know before asking, but regretted asking after knowing the answer.

He gritted his teeth and whispered, "Who the hell is this bastard!"

Jiang Yining opened his eyelids dazedly, "Hmm?"

He Chi patted her back gently to comfort her, "I'm not scolding you, be good, continue to dream."

After saying that, he added, "Remember to have your husband in your dreams. Don't dwell on that bastard from before. Forget about him." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
