Chapter 126: Did you have a fight? (1/2)

Jiang Yining had just finished taking a shower and had a faint fragrance on her body, which made He Chi feel itchy.

He kissed Jiang Yining's cheek, kissed her slender white neck, and nibbled her collarbone.

Jiang Yining trembled slightly. His short hair pricked her skin and hurt. His warm breath was like feathers, sweeping over her skin again and again, itching and stirring her heart.

She reached out and gently pushed his head away.

He asked casually, his voice still slightly hoarse, "What are you thinking about tonight?"

Jiang Yining wanted to tell him later, but since he asked now, her tone became more serious. "He Chi, do you think we should consider having a child?"

He Chi paused, not caring about the kiss anymore, raised his head and asked, "Why?"

Jiang Yining expressed his thoughts, "I saw that grandma was very energetic before. She might be looking forward to seeing her great-grandson."

She guessed that He Chi might have said something to them before, and said, "No one in the family dared to mention this matter recently. Grandma was just talking halfway..."

He Chi understood.

He held Jiang Yining for a while before speaking, "We are not ready to be parents yet. We can't make hasty decisions just to meet our family's expectations. This is very irresponsible."

He Chi held Jiang Yining's face and lowered his head slightly to meet her eyes.

After taking a shower, her facial skin was clear and clean, and her red lips were moist and shiny.

He Chi couldn't help but kiss her and asked gently, "Don't you think so?"

Jiang Yining pursed her lips that had just been kissed by He Chi, raised her eyes and said, "Of course I understand what you are saying, but..."

She didn't continue. "It's really not good to have a child before you're ready."

He Chi hugged her and said, "It's okay. I've been staying at home to take care of grandma these days. Maybe I'm too content now. She has nothing to worry about and keeps thinking about grandpa."

After a pause, he said in a somewhat assholeish manner, "Looks like I have to find something for her to worry about."

Jiang Yining: “…”

Filial piety truly brings strength.

She reminded He Chi, "Pay more attention to grandma and chat with her when you have time."

He Chi hummed, "I know, don't worry."

Jiang Yining likes her current big family very much. Everyone is very nice and she hopes that everyone in her family can be happy.

She took a deep breath and said, "Okay, I have to correct the papers."

Then he began to urge He Chi to take a shower. After thinking for a while, he said, "Let's go see Sun Qian and her son tomorrow."

"If my parents and aunt don't go, and we don't go either, I'm afraid my aunt will say something."

He Chi said indifferently, "She can say whatever she wants. It depends on whether I pay attention to her or not."

He Chi felt unhappy when he recalled how his aunt had tried to match him up with her niece. "She didn't learn to be a good elder, so don't blame me, a junior, for being disrespectful to her."

"Besides, I don't have much contact with my cousin. He indulged his mother's mischief before, and I scolded him, and our relationship has become even worse. It's best if our two families don't have any contact in the future."

Jiang Yining originally planned to take a look at Sun Qian's newborn baby to see if he was averse to children.

Since He Chi said so, Jiang Yining gave up the idea and agreed with He Chi, "If you don't want to go, then don't go."

In the afternoon, Xiang Chuan told He Chi that he and Zhu Qingya would take a break tomorrow, and asked He Chi if he wanted to come over for dinner.

He Chi originally didn't plan to go over.

He guessed that his wife probably hadn't gotten over what he had just said, so he wanted Zhu Qingya to enlighten her.
