Chapter 21: Better to Go Crazy (2/2)

Moreover, in Zhao Hong's eyes, Jiang Yining is a cold-blooded animal. Zhao Hong must think that she is capable of selling the house.

Jiang Yining said calmly, "Zhao Hong has coveted this house for so many years. She certainly wouldn't give it up for a few hundred thousand less, but she certainly won't give up the house."

"I'll get the money back first, and then we'll make an agreement. I won't let Zhao Hong take any advantage of the house."

Zhang Qiao laughed, "Ningning, I think you're becoming more and more ruthless in doing things now. That's good."

She has had a gentle personality since she was a child. She was spoiled by Aunt Du and grew up carefree. Later, she dealt with a scoundrel like Zhao Hong alone, and Uncle Jiang stood by and watched.

It's not easy for her to keep this house all these years.

Zhang Qiao was tidying up Jiang Yining's bookcase, which was filled with all kinds of old romance novels.

She took out a book, and the corners of her lips twitched slightly, "Escape 99 times, The CEO's Expensive Little Wife..."

Jiang Yining blushed and ran over to snatch the book from Zhang Qiao's hand, "Everyone has a little hobby."

"Are you sure you want to move these over too?"

Jiang Yining was also in a dilemma, "What should I do then?"

Zhang Qiao said, "You have too many books. Leave them here with me first and I'll move them slowly later."

Jiang Yining carefully put the book back in its place, "Some books can no longer be found in the market."

She has lived here for almost two and a half years and didn't think she had too much stuff. Now she feels overwhelmed when she has to clean it up.

Jiang Yining first packed out all the books she would need for work and study. There were three big boxes in total. She and Zhang Qiao moved them together, which was very difficult.

Zhang Qiao had no choice but to ask He Chi to carry these three boxes.

In the evening, Jiang Yining sent a message to He Chi, asking, "Are you free?"

She didn't wait for He Chi's reply, but she did receive a voice call.

When she pressed the answer button, Jiang Yining didn't even have time to react before she said "Hello".

He Chi on the other end of the phone was obviously more relaxed than her. The man's deep voice mixed with soothing music came, "How was your cleaning today?"

He Chi had just walked into the bar when he saw Jiang Yining's message. He felt like calling her, but the words he said sounded stiff.

He and Jiang Yining, a couple who got married in a flash, are still in the stage of getting to know each other.

Jiang Yining asked first, "Are you in the bar? Will it disturb your work?"

He Chi: "No." He smiled faintly, "If it would disturb my work, I wouldn't call you at this time."

Listening to He Chi's voice, Jiang Yining's fingers tightened around the phone quietly. She said "oh" in a slightly calmer voice, and then said, "We packed up a little today, and it seems there are a lot of things."

"Some boxes of books are too heavy for the two of us girls to carry."

He Chi immediately said, "I'll carry the heavy things, you guys don't move, or you might hurt yourself."

"I'll have the company driver bring a delivery truck tomorrow, so you don't have to worry about not being able to move all the stuff."

When Jiang Yining heard someone calling He Chi "Brother Chi", he said, "Then you go ahead and get busy."

He Chi smiled and said, "Okay, I'm really busy this time. See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

Jiang Yining originally sent a message to He Chi to tell him that he had too many things, but he felt relieved after hearing He Chi say that he would call a truck to transport the stuff.

But the next day, after seeing the "freight cart" that He Chi mentioned, Jiang Yining was completely dumbfounded.

She was stunned for a long time before she came to her senses and asked He Chi, "Is this the... small car you were talking about?" This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
