Chapter 54: Unhappy (1/2)

Jiang Yining was held in He Chi's arms. She felt that she was really drunk. Her mind was filled with a sense of happiness and she was dizzy.

She suddenly put her arms around the man's waist and rubbed her little face against his chest. She was so obedient and soft that He Chi was suddenly stunned.

Just as He Chi was about to tighten his grip, Jiang Yining let go of him and turned back to the room as if nothing had happened.

"I have to get up early tomorrow, so I'm going to take a shower and go to bed."

He Chi stood there looking at her back, raised his lips and smiled silently.

The next morning, before Jiang Yining's alarm clock rang at 6:30, she got up and went to wash up.

The school requires the class teacher to arrive at school before 7:30, so Jiang Yining has to go out at around 7:10.

When she came out of the master bedroom, He Chi had already returned from taking He Xiaohui for a walk, holding two breakfasts in his hands.

Jiang Yining asked in surprise, "What time did you get up?"

She looked at He Chi and said, "Actually, you don't have to get up so early just to take me back. It only takes me about ten minutes to get back to school by bus."

He Chi put breakfast on the table and said frankly, "My husband and I both go out early and come back late. If we don't go out together in the morning, we can only spend a little time together in the evening."

"They are roommates, not husband and wife."

I can't sleep in the same bed with her at night.

Jiang Yining felt that what He Chi said made sense, "Then you will have less time to rest."

He Chi didn't care, "I'm used to getting up early."

Jiang Yining didn't say anything else.

He Chi went back to his room to change his clothes first. When he came out, he was wearing a white shirt and black trousers. Two buttons on his collar were undone, making him look casual and lazy.

While eating breakfast, He Chi took a bite of the bun, but his eyes were always on Jiang Yining opposite him.

She met with students and parents for the first time today, and she wore an outfit that looked smart yet elegant and fashionable.

It was the clothes that Zhu Qingya matched for her when they were shopping together a few days ago.

A white silk shirt with a loose style and sleeves that just reach the wrists, with unique lantern sleeves, paired with a high-waisted black skirt and simple pearl earrings on both ears.

The color is simple, but it is eye-catching.

Her slightly curly long hair was gently draped over her shoulders, and she tucked the loose hair behind her ears.

Jiang Yining lowered her head slightly to drink porridge, and as soon as she raised her eyes, she met He Chi's deep black eyes.

"Is there something on my face?"

She thought she had rubbed something against her while eating the buns.

He Chi slowly opened his lips and said, "No." After a pause, he said with a faint smile, "I was thinking, if my former homeroom teacher was as beautiful as you, maybe I could have made further progress."

Jiang Yining: “…”

His words were so blunt that Jiang Yining felt a little embarrassed. She said, "Teacher Lin is also very beautiful. You see her every day, but you haven't seen any rapid improvement in your grades."

She had heard Teacher Lin complain many times before about He Chi's serious imbalance in academic performance, and it was only because Teacher Lin forced her to improve his academic performance that he was able to improve his academic performance.

He Chi picked up the bowl and drank the porridge. After putting the bowl down, he replied faintly, "Teacher Lin is strict, but you are different from her."

Jiang Yining saw that the spoon she brought for He Chi was thrown aside alone. He didn't even touch it and picked up the bowl to drink.

After hearing what He Chi said, Jiang Yining said with naked partiality, "Mom is not strict at all, it's just that you often make her angry."

Hearing this, He Chi laughed, forgetting that in his wife's heart, his mother was more important than him.

He Chi apologized, "It's my fault. You've finished eating, right?"

Jiang Yining ate two meat buns and a bowl of porridge. She nodded and said, "I'm full. I'll go back to the study to get something first."

On the way He Chi sent Jiang Yining back to school, he said to her, "Aunt will probably be back next week. If you don't have any other plans by then, let's go to grandma's house."

Jiang Yining: "Sure, I'll prepare whatever grandma and aunt like."
