Chapter 61: Yining, are you pregnant? (2/2)

She then pulled Aunt Fang aside and asked, "What did you see?"

Aunt Fang was too embarrassed to say it out loud, so she just said, "I went up at a very bad time. I knocked on the door but no one answered. I saw that the door was not closed, so I went in to take a look."

"If I had known, I wouldn't have gone in and ruined their plans."

When Lin Shu heard this, she couldn't help but curl the corners of her lips. She wanted to confirm again and asked, "Did you really see it?"

"I'm not old enough to see clearly yet, but Yining probably doesn't dare to come down."

Lin Shu was almost too happy. After hearing what Aunt Fang said, she warned her, "Don't come over later. Yining is shy and I'm afraid she will feel uncomfortable."

Aunt Fang nodded. "I thought so too. I guess they won't come down so soon. I'll ask the kitchen to send the food over later."

They were whispering to each other on the stairs. After Lin Shu came back, He Yuwen asked, "Why hasn't He Chi come down yet?"

Lin Shu glared at him and said, "Why are you in such a hurry? Don't ask any more questions later."

He Qingwen smiled and said, "Sister-in-law, what are you so happy about?"

Lin Shu sat down next to He Yuwen. "I think maybe in a few years I'll be able to enjoy the company of my grandchildren. I feel so happy."

Old Mrs. He and He Qingwen have been working in the business world for many years and are very shrewd. When they saw Lin Shu's reaction, they knew what Aunt Fang had encountered when she went up just now.

Both of them secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

According to this, He Chi and Jiang Yining's marriage was real, and it was not that this bad boy He Chi was playing tricks on them and pretending to get married to deceive his family.

Old Mrs. He was so happy that she was practically blossoming with joy. "If I really get to have a great-grandson, I'll definitely show off to your dad in the underworld."

"He doesn't have the good fortune to go so early."

Mentioning his father who passed away young, He Qingwen felt a pang of heartache, "Mom, please don't talk about this. You must take good care of your health and wait until your great-grandson gets married."

Mrs. He smiled and shook her head. "Then your father will be lonely for a long time."

He Qingwen didn't dare to continue, fearing she would burst into tears if she spoke too much. She said softly, "Who made him leave so early?"

He Yuwen also felt regretful. His father had an accident while on a business trip in his early years. When they rushed over, it was too late and they couldn't even see him for the last time.

This pain has always been buried deep in the hearts of my family, and they rarely dare to bring it up.

He heard some noise upstairs and reminded them, "The children are coming down, let's get ready for dinner."

After Jiang Yining went downstairs, she didn't see Aunt Fang. Seeing that the expressions of other people were no different from that in the morning, she quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

Aunt Fang was not there when the food was served, and it was an aunt she didn't know.

Mrs. He said, "He Chi, last time you asked me to find an aunt from home to cook for you. Your Aunt Zhang cooks very well, so let her cook for you from now on."

He Chi hummed.

Jiang Yining smiled faintly at Mrs. He and said, "Thank you, grandma." Then she looked at the person serving the dishes beside her and said, "Aunt Zhang, I'll trouble you from now on."

Aunt Zhang saw that Jiang Yining was not only good-looking but also very polite. She smiled and said, "It's not a big deal. You can tell me what dishes you want to eat in the future and Aunt Zhang will make it for you."

Lin Shu saw that the last two dishes were seafood that Jiang Yining liked to eat, and urged, "Put these two dishes in front of Yining, she likes them."

He Chi turned his head and glanced. He had already said in advance that he didn't want seafood, and it was probably Teacher Lin who asked the kitchen to add it later.

Before he could ask Jiang Yining if she wanted to eat, he saw her covering her mouth and feeling nauseous and wanting to vomit.

Jiang Yining felt uncomfortable in her stomach when she smelled the seafood. She apologized to everyone, "I'm sorry."

He Chi asked Aunt Zhang to move the two dishes to another place, and brought a glass of warm water to Jiang Yining, "Drink some water and relax."

Old Mrs. He simply asked Aunt Zhang to remove these two dishes.

Lin Shu looked at Jiang Yining's reaction, and He Chi was also very nervous.

She suddenly became a little excited and asked tentatively, "Yining, are you pregnant?" This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
