He Jin: [There are still two private rooms.]
Ji Jinzhou: [Then leave one out. Tonight at 7:30, latecomers will pay the bill.]
He Chi: “…”
There was no other way, so He Chi had to call and ask Jiang Yining if she wanted to come over and play.
When he went out, Jiang Yining said she wanted to take a nap, so He Chi waited until about three o'clock before calling her.
When Jiang Yining received the call, she and Teacher Lin were cutting flowers in the greenhouse. She was holding a bouquet of Roselle roses in her hand.
There was no place to put it nearby, so Jiang Yining handed the bouquet to Teacher Lin, "Mom, please hold it for me while I answer a phone call."
She took out her cell phone and saw that it was a voice call from He Chi. After hearing what He Chi said, Jiang Yining did not refuse and asked, "What time do you need me to come over?"
"Around seven o'clock, I'll go home and pick you up then."
Jiang Yining had no objection, "Okay."
After she hung up the phone, Teacher Lin asked, "He Chi wants to take you out?"
Jiang Yining hummed, "He said he would take me to meet his friends."
Teacher Lin knew without asking that they were going to the bar opened by He Chi.
When He Chi came back to pick up Jiang Yining, she reminded He Chi, "Yining can't drink much, so you should keep an eye on them."
Jiang Yining went back to her room to get her bag, and He Chi was sitting on the sofa in the living room downstairs waiting for her.
While Teacher Lin was speaking, He Chi was replying to a message, humming lazily.
Teacher Lin heard that he was just being perfunctory, and with a glance from Teacher Lin, He Yuwen immediately understood.
When the pillow was thrown over, He Chi reached out and caught it swiftly.
He felt that his status in the family had become increasingly lower since he married Jiang Yining. "Teacher Lin, do you have any advice?"
"Didn't you hear what I said to you?"
He Chi didn't dare to admit it. Just then, Jiang Yining came down from upstairs. He immediately stood up and said, "Mom and Dad, we have to go first."
Teacher Lin warned again, "Don't let Yining drink too much."
He Chi responded, "I know."
Ever since seeing Jiang Yining, He Chi's eyes have never left her. After being stared at for so long, Jiang Yining could no longer remain calm.
After getting in the car, Jiang Yining asked softly, "Doesn't this look good on me?"
In the afternoon in the greenhouse, her skirt accidentally got stained with mud, so Jiang Yining went back to her room to change into another set before going out.
The light green ink-wash dress she was wearing was bought for her by Teacher Lin. It had a low-cut halter neckline and a fresh color, and was paired with a very thin cardigan of the same color.
The skirt suits her temperament very well, making her look particularly gentle and beautiful.
He Chi reached out and used his long fingers to tuck a strand of hair that had fallen on her ear behind her ear.
The man's fingers touched the skin on her cheek lightly, causing a tingling sensation.
He didn't answer her question directly, but said, "Let's not go to the bar. Let's drive home."
Jiang Yining cried out, and looked at He Chi with a bewildered look on her face. "Why?"
He Chi's Adam's apple rolled slightly, and his tone was very calm, "My wife is so beautiful, I don't want to show it to them."
Jiang Yining was almost blushing at what he said, but he looked calm. She couldn't tell whether he was teasing her on purpose or was serious.
At this time, He Chi's cell phone rang.
He looked and saw that it was Chen Ran again, so he answered the phone.
Chen Ran was afraid that He Chi would not bring anyone with him. "Brother Chi, everyone is here. Are you here?"
He praised Jiang Yining like a fairy. After hearing what Chen Ran said, everyone couldn't contain their curiosity.
He Chi didn't really want to let them down, "Go over now." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
