The moment the door opened, their eyes met. He Chi stared at her with red eyes. Seeing her confused look, he didn't know how to react for a moment.
Jiang Yining stood at the door, rubbing his eyes in a daze, and said slowly, "I saw He Chi naked in front of me. Am I dreaming?"
After a pause, she said to herself, "I must not have woken up yet."
He Chi couldn't help laughing, his voice a little hoarse, "Yes, you are dreaming."
He turned off the water and casually wrapped her in a bath towel, knowing that she was woken up by holding it in, so he made room for her.
The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, but He Chi did not close the door when he took a shower, and some water splashed outside.
He held up one of Jiang Yining's arms and said, "There's water on the ground, be careful."
After sending her to the toilet, He Chi walked out of the bathroom and closed the door behind him.
After she came out of the bathroom, He Chi followed Jiang Yining and walked her back to bed.
After she lay down, He Chi reached out and gently pinched her nose, and said in a doting voice, "You were dreaming just now, you know?"
Jiang Yining was extremely sleepy. After straining herself to look at him, she slowly hummed in agreement.
The next day, Jiang Yining's stomach was growling with hunger. When she opened her eyes, she saw that the bedroom was dark.
After regaining some consciousness, she realized something was different from usual. The man's arm was across her waist, making it difficult for her to move.
She leaned in He Chi's arms, both of them sleeping on their sides, his warm breath falling regularly on her head.
He Chi seemed to be still asleep, and Jiang Yining didn't dare to move.
It was the first time she got drunk. How did she get home last night?
Jiang Yining had a headache. He closed his eyes and recalled the past. Memories flooded into his mind one after another.
She cried and told Teacher Lin that her mother was gone.
She dreamed that when she went to the toilet, she saw He Chi...
Now that I think about it, this was not a dream at all!
Jiang Yining quietly raised her hands to cover her face, and when she looked down, she found that she was not wearing the skirt she wore out last night, but the nightgown that Teacher Lin bought for her.
He Chi opened his eyelids lazily, and what he saw was his wife's ear tips which were already flushed.
His deep voice was slightly hoarse, "Awake?"
Jiang Yining bit her lip and said nothing, trying to pretend to be asleep.
After waiting for a while, He Chi saw that she didn't respond, so he curled his lips, didn't expose her, but hugged her tighter.
Jiang Yining had difficulty breathing. She couldn't pretend anymore and moved her body.
There is a big difference in body size between men and women. She is about 1.67 meters tall, but she looks petite in He Chi's arms, and his whole body is held in her arms.
He Chi spoke again, "Awake?"
Jiang Yining hummed softly. She didn't know where she had put her phone. She asked, "What time is it?"
He Chi reached out a hand from under the covers and fumbled around on the bedside table for a while before finding his phone. He glanced at it and said calmly, "It's exactly eleven o'clock."
No wonder I'm so hungry.
She pushed He Chi's arm away from her waist and immediately felt a lot more relaxed. "I'll get up first. Do you want to sleep a little longer?"
"No more sleep."
He woke up at seven in the morning, but Jiang Yining was still sleeping soundly at that time. He Chi did not get up for fear of waking her up.
This was the first time he slept until noon.
Jiang Yining lifted the quilt and got out of bed. She lowered her eyes and took a look, and her ears suddenly felt even hotter.
She was wearing a suspender dress last night, so she used breast pads. The nightgown did not come with breast pads, and Jiang Yining felt cold inside the nightgown.
Jiang Yining had her back to him, so He Chi couldn't see the expression on her face. He paused before saying, "I changed your clothes last night with your consent, but I didn't help you take a bath."
