Chapter 87: I need my wife’s approval (2/2)

Jiang Yining knew they were joking, so he went along with their wishes, smiled and nodded, and said, "I'm willing to give it up."

"Did you hear that, Brother Chi? Sister-in-law has spoken. Hurry up and have a baby with her so that you can join the team with Brother Chuan's child in the future."

Jiang Yining blushed, but He Chi said calmly, "You haven't enjoyed your two-person world enough, why do you need a little light bulb?"

He even dislikes He Xiaohui.

However, if he had a warm and sweet daughter in the future, a girl as beautiful as Jiang Yining, he would be looking forward to it.

He Chi looked at Jiang Yining, and his eyes unconsciously became much gentler.

Jiang Yining met his deep black eyes and lowered her eyes shyly.

Seeing the two of them looking at each other with a lingering gaze, the people around them couldn't stand it anymore, "Hey, can you please consider those of us who are still single?"

"I can't stand it anymore."

Ling's father and mother came back from shopping. When they were at the door, they heard a burst of playing sounds coming from inside, and they both stopped at the same time.

Ever since Ling Yan left, the house has rarely been as lively as this one, and even the New Year and other holidays can’t return to the atmosphere of the past.

But Ling Yan and his brothers always make an appointment to come home together at the same time.

He Chi has been away from home these years, but he would come to visit them whenever he returned to Lincheng.

Father Ling reminded her softly, "Let's go in."

Ling's mother wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. She missed her son.

If Ling Yan were still alive, at this age, he would probably bring his girlfriend back to meet them and talk about marriage. In another year or two, they would be able to enjoy the company of their grandchildren.

Ling's mother concealed the sadness in her eyes and opened the door to go in.

Seeing them come back, He Chi introduced them to Jiang Yining, "Yining, this is Uncle Ling and Aunt Mo."

Jiang Yining stood up, "Uncle Ling, Aunt Mo, hello."

Ling's mother smiled at her and said, "Yining, welcome to our home."

She handed the fruit in her hand to Lingyue, "Xiaoyue, go wash the fruit."

Ling Yue took the fruit to the kitchen, and Ling's mother chatted with Zhu Qingya and Jiang Yining in the living room for a while.

They all had dinner at Ling's house and stayed until nine o'clock in the evening before leaving.

Before leaving, the Ling family of three saw them off.

Before parting, Ling's father and mother gave Jiang Yining two red envelopes.

The two red envelopes were so thick that Jiang Yining didn't dare to take them.

Ling's mother advised, "Yining, this is your first time here. We have always treated them as half-sons. You should accept the red envelope."

He Chi nodded towards Jiang Yining and said, "Take it."

Jiang Yining accepted it. "Uncle Ling, Aunt Mo, thank you." She smiled and said, "I hope you are in good health and always smiling."

Ling's mother smiled and said, "This child is so sweet."

He Chi took Jiang Yining's hand, and the two of them left with the others.

After walking away, Jiang Yining looked back and found that the three members of the Ling family were still watching them in the night.

The pain of Ling Yan's sacrifice may fade away with time in the hearts of others, but not his parents.

The most painful thing in the world is to see a loved one die.

After returning to Yuhubancheng, He Chi had a multinational meeting to attend.

Jiang Yining was extremely bored. After taking a shower, she hugged He Xiaohui and curled up on the sofa, finding a popular TV series to watch.

He Chi came out of the study and saw He Xiaohui with a look of despair on his face.

He Xiaohui wanted to go back to his own nest, but Jiang Yining held him and played with him like a doll.

He Chi walked over to Jiang Yining and sat down, rescuing He Xiaohui from Jiang Yining's hands.

Jiang Yining leaned towards He Chi. She looked up at him and said with a smile, "Uncle Ling and Aunt Mo gave me two huge red envelopes that were one in a million."

She rarely smiled so charmingly.

He Chi lowered his head and touched nose to nose with hers, saying meaningfully, "She is truly one in a million." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
