Chapter 45 Regret

Chapter 45 Regret

Zhang Qiao heard what her mother said and knew that Jiang Yining was sick. "Tell me, why did you suddenly get sick? Could it be because you got caught in the rain that night?"

Jiang Yining pursed her lips and remained silent, blinking at Zhang Qiao.

It's equivalent to default.

Zhang Qiao really wanted to hit someone, "Look at what you've accomplished. Isn't it just Zhao Jiajia?"

"By the way, how did He Chi and Zhao Jiajia know each other?"

Jiang Yining said, "He Chi didn't know her. There was another girl in the car at the time."

She briefly explained the whole story to Zhang Qiao.

He added, "I went home too late that night, and I thought He Chi should be asleep, so I didn't want to bother him getting up."

Zhang Qiao knew Jiang Yining very well, so she just looked at Jiang Yining without saying anything.

Jiang Yining was defeated. "Okay, one of the reasons is that I'm angry, but it only accounts for a small part."

"Just a little bit." She gestured stubbornly to Zhang Qiao.

"Yeah, a little bit."

After a pause, Zhang Qiao said seriously, "Ningning, you can't do this in the future."

Jiang Yining has become honest, "I know, from now on I will let the whole world down instead of myself."

She also reflected on herself and decided that she must remain calm when encountering matters related to Zhao Hong and her daughter in the future and not let them influence her again.

Zhang Qiao laughed, raised her hand and gently hit her foot, "I hope you can do it."

Looking at Jiang Yining's current state, you can tell that she and He Chi are getting along very well now. Seeing her best friend who grew up with her living a happy life, Zhang Qiao is happier than anyone else.

"Do you think I will be as lucky as you? Maybe..."

Zhang Qiao paused and shook her head. "Forget it. I don't dare to gamble."

......

The next morning, Jiang Yining got up early. When she finished washing up and came out, it was just seven o'clock and the alarm clock rang.

She turned off the alarm, opened the door and went out.

He Chi returned home with the breakfast he brought from Old Lady He's house. He glanced at his watch and asked, "Are you up so early?"

Jiang Yining wanted to say, "You're up early too."

Her eyes fell on the lunch box in He Chi's hand. Knowing that he had brought her breakfast, Jiang Yining curled her lips slightly and said, "I went to bed early last night."

She asked, "Have you had breakfast?"

He Chi walked towards the restaurant, "No, I brought breakfast back from grandma's house. Let's eat together. I'll take you to school later."

The breakfast was very exquisite, with snacks and porridge. When He Chi just opened the lunch box, Jiang Yining smelled the fragrance.

"What kind of porridge is this? I seem to smell the fragrance of milk."

He Chi said, "Milk bird's nest porridge. Grandma specially asked Aunt Fang to make it."

"Aunt Fang is the niece of a distant cousin of grandma's. She has been taking care of grandma all these years."

Jiang Yining smiled sweetly, "Thank you."

He Chi looked at her and raised his eyebrows.

Jiang Yining met He Chi's gaze and said with a curved lip, "Thank you, Grandma and Aunt Fang."

He Chi placed the porridge in front of her and said, "Try it."

Jiang Yining asked, "Are these snacks also made by Aunt Fang?"

She actually seldom eats sweet food because she feels sick of it. She prefers sour food to sweet food. But this dessert is sweet but not sickly, very delicate and tastes good.

He Chi hummed, "If you like it, bring some to school later to fill your stomach when you're hungry."

"How do you solve lunch?"

Now eating breakfast, Jiang Yining didn't think so far, "Let's order takeout. My home is not far from school. I can take the bus back and take a nap."

“Takeout is unhealthy.”

He Chi thought about it and said, "Let's just hire a live-in nanny. Grandma has a nanny who does a pretty good job."

He didn't like having other people living in his house before, and thinking that there was a housekeeping service in Yuhubancheng, he didn't plan to hire a live-in aunt.

But now that Jiang Yining is at home, the housekeeping service in the community has to have someone at home to open the door. If she comes home from get off work at noon and asks someone to come and cook, it will be too late.

Jiang Yining shook his head, "I don't like having outsiders at home."

She knew He Chi didn't like it either.

He Chi suggested, "Then let Aunt Fan come over at noon and in the evening on weekdays to take her fingerprints."

Jiang Yining also denied it, "Aunt Fan is always very anxious every time she comes to our place."

She laughed and said, "Aunt Fan was afraid that we would spend money. Yesterday you asked her to stay at our house for the entire afternoon, and she was almost furious. She hurried off to hand over her shift after making dinner."

Jiang Yining knew that He Chi wanted Aunt Fan to stay at home and talk to her yesterday afternoon.

Neither of these proposals works.

Let other aunts come to cook. Usually no one is at home, and they don’t like to let a stranger be alone in their home.

Jiang Yining said, "I can just buy the groceries and cook for myself. It's very simple to cook for one person."

He Chi disagreed, "By the time you finish your meal it will be time to go to work, so how can you rest?"

He made the final decision and said, "How about this, let grandma help pick an auntie with good cooking skills and have her come over before dinner time to cook, so we can rest assured."

Jiang Yining had no objection, "Let's do as you say."

Something suddenly occurred to her, so she asked, "When are we going to the gym to work out?"

He Chi looked up at her, a smile flashing in his dark eyes, "Are you so anxious?"

"There's no point in being anxious. We have to wait until you're fully recovered."

All right.

Jiang Yining stopped asking questions and lowered his head to drink his porridge.

After breakfast, He Chi drove Jiang Yining to school, and he happened to be on his way back to the company as well.

But before leaving, He Chi asked Jiang Yining for a marriage certificate, but she didn't know why He Chi wanted the certificate.

Facing Jiang Yining's confusion, He Chi simply said, "It's useful."

Jiang Yining went back to the room to get the marriage certificate for him, and the man casually put it in his trouser pocket, thinking that the marriage certificate could be reissued. Jiang Yining thought about it and didn't say anything.

When they arrived at the school gate, He Chi said, "I'm going to the bar tonight, and some friends are coming over. I might not be back until very late. Don't squeeze on the bus after get off work, take a taxi home."

"Okay, drive slower."

Jiang Yining got out of the car. She watched He Chi's car drive away before she walked into the school.

Someone called her from behind, "Teacher Jiang."

Jiang Yining turned around and smiled when he saw the person, "Good morning, Teacher Yang."

"Good morning."

Yang Hui glanced in the direction where He Chi's car had left and asked politely, "I seemed to see a man bring you here. Is he your family member?"

His question was actually a bit presumptuous.

Jiang Yining didn't mind and smiled lightly, "Yes, my husband."

Yang Hui was a little bit incredulous and asked blankly, "Teacher Jiang, you...you are married?"

Jiang Yining smiled and nodded, "We just got our marriage certificate not long ago."

Yang Hui forced a smile, "Congratulations."

The two of them walked together to the first grade office. Halfway there, Jiang Yining asked curiously, "Teacher Yang, I remember the school assigned you to teach the third grade graduates. How come you're teaching the first grade now?"

Yang avoided the issue and said, "Teaching a graduating class is stressful."

Jiang Yining knew he was making excuses and didn't ask any more questions.

There is pressure to teach the graduating class, but after all, the students are obedient. The first-year junior high school has just been promoted from elementary school, and many students are in their rebellious period. It is no easier than teaching the graduating class.

Jiang Yining would rather teach the graduating class, but the school arranged for her to start from the seventh grade, and she would probably teach this class for the entire three years of junior high school.

When she returned to the office, Jiang Yining found out that she and Teacher Yang both taught Class 1 and Class 2, and Teacher Yang taught mathematics.

She is the head teacher of Class 1, and Teacher Yang is the head teacher of Class 2.

Jiang Yining saw the schedule and smiled at Yang Hui, "Teacher Yang, what a coincidence, we both teach Classes One and Two."

A hint of regret flashed across Yang Hui's eyes, but he quickly raised his lips and smiled, "It's quite a coincidence. I hope we can have a pleasant cooperation in the future."
