Chapter 123 Being kicked out

Chapter 123 Being kicked out

"Who are you?"

The man frowned and asked in a somewhat impatient tone.

"Kick her out, you two! This is really lawless, yet you're still forcing your way in." The short-haired woman came in and gave Gu Wanxing a stormy look.

The unfriendly attitude made her, a person with stable emotions, want to go up and slap her in the face.

"I am the tenant of this house. Isn't it wrong for you to enter the house without my permission?"

Gu Wanxing felt that she should still give the old lady some face. After all, after this group of people left, it would be the two of them who would really get along with each other.

If we fall out, it will be ugly.

The square-faced man pushed his glasses up on his nose and asked in surprise, "Are you saying that my mother rented the east room to you?"

When Gu Wanxing didn't see the old lady come out, he felt something was wrong.

But she still nodded: "Yes."

Her cold eyes met the man's narrowed gaze, without any stage fright.

When the man saw that she was a girl, he was not afraid of them at all, but instead looked at her twice more.

"How much does my mom rent you?"

"Eight dollars a month." Gu Wanxing thought that after they inquired about the rent, they would realize their mistake.

The result is good...

The man began to dig into his pockets and pulled out a ten-dollar bill: "Here, we don't want to rent it anymore, you can leave."

Gu Wanxing was so angry that she laughed. The corners of her mouth curled up slightly. Although she was smiling, the smile did not reach her eyes. "You look like an educated person, how come you don't understand such a small thing? We signed a contract for this house. Now you are breaking in illegally. I can go to the police station and sue you."

The man paused. He didn't expect Gu Wanxing to be so strong, but he was a protective son. How could he allow others to say that his wife and sister had broken the law?

"The old lady is old and confused. We don't rent this house, so if you want to call the police, go ahead. I've already refunded the rent, but you don't want it. How can it still be our fault?"

Gu Wanxing really didn't want to make trouble, but this guy obviously wanted to act like a rogue.

"I can't tell you, Auntie, Auntie—are you in the room?"

She wanted to call the old lady out, but no matter how she called, there was no movement in the room.

"Don't shout. What are you shouting for? My mother is sick and can't get up. You'd better leave quickly. That room is yours, take it away quickly."

"Sister-in-law, let's bring the child over. Don't let her have any infectious diseases."

At this time, the long-haired woman also spoke in a sarcastic tone.

Gu Wanxing ignored them and walked into the bedroom.

The square-faced man tried to stop her, but was pushed back several steps by her.

The other man just stood at the door, didn't say anything, and didn't stop Gu Wanxing.

The long-haired woman was so angry that she started cursing.

Gu Wanxing walked into the bedroom and looked at the messy eight-treasure box on the desk, and suddenly understood.

That box was the old lady's most treasured thing. It had always been on the top of the cabinet. The top of her cabinet was concave, so the box could not be seen at all when it was placed on the top.

"Aunt?" Gu Wanxing walked to the bedside, looked down, and found that the old lady's face was blue and purple, and she didn't respond at all.

"Aunt? Aunt~"

Gu Wanxing patted the old lady's face.

There was still no response, so she was about to use her hand to check her breath, but was stopped by the two women.

"Why did you bang my mom?"

As soon as the woman finished speaking, Gu Wanxing left the bedside.

She didn't say anything and let the two women speak unilaterally.

The two men cursed at each other, and then the square-faced man attacked with soft words.

"You're a pretty girl, how can you be a scoundrel? We won't rent you anymore, so you'd better leave quickly, or we'll report you to the police station. By then, your reputation will be ruined and you won't even be able to find a husband."

Upon hearing this, Gu Wanxing walked past them with a cold expression and left the bedroom.

She didn't say a word, mainly because she was afraid of being blackmailed by them. It would be better to leave this situation to the people's servants.

"Hey, take all your junk away."

The long-haired woman followed her and pushed her aside when they entered the east room.

After entering the house, she hurriedly picked up the child on the bed. Another short-haired woman followed closely and took away another little boy.

"Take them all away quickly, or don't blame us for being ruthless. What's the difference between your behavior and robbery? Look at my mother, an old lady, and you are confused again, deliberately trying to occupy our house."

Gu Wanxing suppressed his anger and rolled up the bedding on the bed.

Fortunately, there weren't many things on the table, and she could carry them all in the bag she was carrying.

"What's wrong?"

Just then, Fu Zheng came in. He walked with his long straight legs and came to Gu Wanxing's side under the stunned gaze of the two women.

Hearing the voice, Gu Wanxing turned around and found that it was Fu Zheng. Then he said, "It's okay, pack up your things."

"I'll help you."

In fact, Fu Zheng just came in. After coming in, he only saw two sleeping children, and then he went out again.

With Fu Zheng's help, cleaning up was much faster.

In less than five minutes, the bedding was tied to the back seat of Fu Zheng's motorcycle with ropes.

Bang--

The door of the east room was tightly closed, and Gu Wanxing couldn't help rolling his eyes.

"What happened?"

Fu Zheng was full of worry and asked again. He always felt that the matter was not simple. He had been here several times and had never seen those people before.

"What else can I do? I got kicked out. I wasted a month's rent."

She spread her hands helplessly.

"Please help me send the things home first. I have to go call the police for the old lady."

It can be considered as the end of this relationship. I hope it can help her.

She guessed that the children probably came back to ask for money or something important, but didn't get it, so they had a conflict with the old lady, which caused her to suddenly fall into a coma.

Otherwise I really can't understand why.

"How about I go with you?" Fu Zheng didn't want to leave, so he wanted to find a reason to stay with her. He was leaving soon and didn't know when they would meet again.

The most important thing was that he wanted to sit down with her and talk about their affairs, but she was busy as her schedule was full.

Gu Wanxing glanced at Fu Zheng and saw that his dark eyes were staring at her quietly, with a hint of tenderness in his brows.

She couldn't help but sigh in her heart. She had actually considered the two of them being together, but she couldn't say it out loud because she felt that she was older than him and was embarrassed to agree.

"Please send it back for me first, and then accompany me to the city this afternoon. If you are free these few days, please accompany me more often. I want to buy a piece of land."

Seeing him like that, Gu Wanxing's tone softened a little.

Fu Zheng's eyes lit up with smiles, and he nodded repeatedly: "When you are free, wait for me."

He said this with eyes full of doting, and reached out to gently smooth the loose hair on Gu Wanxing's forehead behind her ears.

Gu Wanxing tilted his head awkwardly and hurried to see if there was anyone at either end of the road.

"I'm leaving first."

"Yeah." She felt her cheeks getting hot, as if she had a fever.

Watching Fu Zheng's motorcycle go away, Gu Wanxing turned around and looked at the door behind him.

So he got on his bike and headed in the opposite direction.
