By the time the two of them finished cleaning the house inside and out, it was already dark.
Because of Zhuang Weixing, Lin Yizhen had to cook for him herself. Fortunately, Zhuang Weixing did not follow her to the kitchen, otherwise it would be difficult for her to get food out of the space.
Lin Yizhen didn’t know how to cook, so she made porridge.
Then, I went to the front yard and cut some green onions. I kneaded some dough and made some scallion pancakes, which were enough to satisfy my hunger.
After dinner, Zhuang Weixing returned home.
The house was dark. It looked like my sister hadn't returned. I wondered how she was doing at her husband's house? Was that useless brother-in-law bullying her?

The next morning, Zhuang Weixing delivered the breakfast he made to Lin Yizhen and then went to his sister's house in the neighboring village.

I took the breakfast he handed me and waved goodbye to him.
After eating the breakfast brought by Zhuang Weixing, Lin Yizhen packed up the things she brought back and took out some of her commonly used daily necessities from the space.
Then, he distributed the gifts he brought back and sent them to several close relatives.
It was almost noon when she came back, so Lin Yizhen went to Zhuang Weixing's house again to see if Zhuang Weixing had returned.
When I arrived at the Zhuang family's house, I saw Zhuang Weixing and Zhuang Weimin were both at home.
Zhuang Weimin was holding a little baby of two or three years old in her hand. Lin Yizhen guessed that this child was Zhuang Weimin's daughter whom she had never met.
The brother and sister did not notice Lin Yizhen's arrival at first. They were still arguing about whether Zhuang Weimin would come back or not.
