Chapter 156 One Strike Kills

A heavy iron gate, two meters high and about one meter wide, stood prominently in front of everyone.

It is made entirely of dark gray alloy.

"The door is locked from the inside."

Lone Wolf carefully inspected the iron gate, his brows furrowing deeper and deeper. Upon returning, he whispered.

“The structure is very complex, and I suspect there is a linked alarm system. If we force it open, although it is theoretically feasible, it will make a lot of noise. As soon as we knock, the enemies inside will immediately notice, and then we will be completely exposed.”

"I'll drive."

Su Qingzhi took a step forward, her tone calm.

"You can?"

Lone Wolf immediately frowned, his face full of doubt.

"This is not an ordinary door lock. This level of security system has a built-in pressure sensor and an electronic triggering mechanism. If there is the slightest mistake, even if the force is applied in the wrong direction, the alarm will sound instantly, and there will be no time to react."

"I know."

Su Qingzhi remained calm and nodded slightly.

"I understand the design principles of this type of lock and I also have ways to deal with it."

She not only possessed superb lock-picking skills, but more importantly, she had a secret that no one knew.

There exists a mysterious space within her consciousness.

If the alarm device is accidentally triggered during the unlocking process.

She can store the alarm module in space within a fraction of a second, rendering it completely ineffective.

Furthermore, the iron gate itself obscured the view, making it impossible for outsiders to see what she was doing behind it.

No one questioned her.

Those who get into the Special Affairs Department are all carefully selected.

Which one doesn't have a few unique skills that others can't share?

Su Qingzhi walked over calmly.

She slowly pulled out two thin, silver-white wires from the dark gray tactical bag she carried with her.

In the blink of an eye, the two originally straight metal wires were twisted into a braid.

"Click".

The moment the wire was inserted into the keyhole, Shen Zhiyu keenly detected a very subtle sound coming from inside the lock cylinder.

Su Qingzhi twisted her wrist suddenly with precise force.

The door lock popped open with a "click".

She pushed forward with the ease of the door, and it opened with a click.

Just as she opened the door, she pressed her palm against the red alarm panel on the wall, preventing the alarm from being triggered.

Shen Zhiyu quickly stood behind her, his broad shoulders blocking any possible views from outside the corridor.

When she turned around, she found that the red alarm that Su Qingzhi had just been holding was gone.

"A-Shuo, thank you."

Su Qingzhi turned her head and smiled at him.

The angle of the surveillance camera was cleverly avoided, and the sound of footsteps was absorbed by the carpet.

No one noticed anything unusual.

As Lone Wolf and his group approached from behind, Su Qingzhi, under Shen Zhiyu's cover, quickly slipped into an inconspicuous little cubicle by the wall.

Then, she casually rummaged through a pile of discarded equipment in the corner and pulled out a fake alarm that looked intact but had long been powered off. She held it in her hand and pretended to be serious.

Lone Wolf walked in, his gaze lingering for a moment on the device in her hand.

He frowned, reached out and tapped the alarm casing, but there was no response.

"ox."

Su Qingzhi smiled, neither showing off nor being modest.

"Let's go."

The procession continued forward.

This time, Lone Wolf didn't say much, but nodded directly to Shen Zhiyu and Su Qingzhi, signaling them to take the lead.

No one raised any objection to this decision.

Ahead is a narrow corridor about two meters wide, with non-slip metal plates on the ground.

The emergency lights overhead emitted a pale blue glow.

Every ten meters or so, there stands a heavy iron gate.

A prominent yellow warning sign is affixed to the door frame, which is connected to a separate alarm system.

Anyone who forcibly enters will immediately trigger a remote alarm.

The two worked together seamlessly, moving in unison.

As before, Su Qingzhi was in charge of unlocking the door, while Shen Zhiyu was in charge of guarding and providing cover.

She skillfully inserted the wire, fine-tuned the angle, felt the internal distribution, and then gently plucked it.

Each time, the unlocking was completed silently.

There was not a sound throughout the entire process.

Until the third door was successfully opened, two parallel passages appeared ahead, one to the left and one to the right.

They looked at each other in bewilderment and had no choice but to split up and take action.

Time is of the essence; we cannot afford to waste it on hesitation.

The bear family exchanged a glance, and then decisively chose to follow Su Qingzhi.

Jiaojiao and Xiaoheizi exchanged a glance and then joined the team led by Lone Wolf.

After the two groups separated, Su Qingzhi led the three people on her side and walked into the passage on the right without hesitation.

They had only gone in less than five meters when they ran into two guards.

The other party was clearly not expected to see someone suddenly appear. They were stunned for a moment, and were about to shout a warning.

But they were a beat too slow to react.

Su Qingzhi's eyes turned cold, and with a flash, her right hand accurately struck the carotid artery of one of them.

The man groaned, his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed to the ground.

At the same time, Shen Zhiyu also made his move, delivering a chop to the back of another person's neck, knocking him unconscious.

The two bodies were quickly dragged to a shadowy corner and completely concealed.

The group continued onward, but with even greater caution.

Finally, at the end of the passage, they came to a heavy metal door.

Several unfamiliar characters were written on the door in red paint.

Shen Zhiyu stopped, leaned closer to look, raised his hand, pointed to the words on the door, and whispered, "This should mean 'Storage Room One'."
