“I heard everything you said.”
Su Qingzhi spoke frankly.
The wind blew a stray hair across her forehead, and she raised her hand to brush it away, but her gaze never left Zhu Xiuqin's face.
"So what if you hear it?"
Zhu Xiuqin sneered.
"You think you can go and file a complaint? Or go to the village chief for justice? Do you think anyone would believe the words of an outsider like you who's been sent down to the countryside?"
She spoke with a tone full of disdain.
Su Qingzhi glanced at her stubbornness and looked out of the cave dwelling.
A few strands of dry grass hung on the edge of the earthen wall, swaying in the wind.
She took a deep breath, feeling a slight coolness on the tip of her nose.
Too lazy to waste words with her, I simply left her with a curt remark.
"The Liu Yuelan of today is no longer the easy person she used to be. Don't disbelieve me, she's capable of anything when she gets ruthless. If you and your son anger her, you might not even be able to save your lives."
As soon as she finished speaking, Su Qingzhi turned and left.

"Who are you trying to scare? Do you think you're someone important?"
She muttered to herself.
She was all alone in this place, with no one to rely on.
Her son was a good-for-nothing, always causing trouble. He had no friends, and even the neighbors avoided him.
She was truly isolated.
