Su Qingzhi stood aside without flinching.

Shen Cunpu's mind went blank, as if he had been hit hard by a heavy hammer.

Su Manqing smiled.
"Yes. It's her. You go ahead and get busy. I need to talk to Niannian for a bit. There are some things we need to discuss properly."
Seeing that his mother was conscious, Shen Cunpu relaxed his tense shoulders.
"Then don't tire yourself out, just call me if you need anything."
Then he turned and left the house, gently closing the door behind him.
The room finally quieted down, leaving only the two of them sitting facing each other.
Only after confirming that Shen Cunpu had gone far away did Su Manqing slowly reach out her hand.
