He yelled at me, 'If you dare steal from me again, you'll taste this!' I was terrified."
"Where did she get this thing?"
Liu Yuelan pressed for an answer.
"She's an orphan living in that kind of dilapidated storage shed, where would she get power tools? These aren't ordinary gadgets, you have to know how to use them."
How would I know?
Chen Xinghua looked completely innocent.
"It's probably something left over from the old Su family storeroom. It's probably an old thing left behind when the Su family moved out of their old house, and she found it and hid it away as a treasure."
Liu Yuelan also felt there was a possibility.
After all, the Su family was a well-known wealthy family in Jiangcheng back then.
It's not unusual to have power tools at home.
But she still planned to find an opportunity to ask Fang Mingyu privately.
The chainsaw incident always bothered her.
Su Qingzhi had no idea that Liu Yuelan had become suspicious of her.
Right now, I'm checking my interview materials over and over again.
Unbeknownst to her, an undercurrent was quietly brewing where she could not see.
Shen Zhiyu teaches Chinese language and literature.
This subject was not difficult for Su Qingzhi.
With careful preparation, she believed she was fully capable of handling the job.
the next day
She followed Shen Zhiyu towards the school.
The school is actually quite small.
There were only about twenty students in total.
They were all children from the military family compound.
Upon seeing Shen Zhiyu, he cheerfully greeted her with "Hello, Teacher Shen."
There is only one person in charge of the entire school, and that is the principal.
She also happens to be Shen Zhiyu's mother, named Zhu Hongyu.
When Zhu Hongyu met Su Qingzhi, she didn't make things difficult for her at all.
Every step was followed meticulously according to the procedure.
Finally, she was also asked to give a trial lesson in Chinese to the students.
Su Qingzhi's heart beat slightly faster as she stood on the podium.
She steadied her voice and began her story with "Little Hero Yu Lai".
Tell the story vividly and movingly with a gentle yet firm tone.
The children listened intently, even the boy who was usually the most mischievous sat up straight.
Zhu Hongyu stood at the back of the classroom, a satisfied smile on her face.
She immediately decided, "Come to work tomorrow."
Su Qingzhi was stunned when she heard this: "So fast?"
"Okay, I'll be here on time tomorrow morning."
There aren't many classes at school; they mainly consist of Chinese and math.
The course schedule is simple and the pace is not intense.
It is suitable for children to learn slowly and accumulate knowledge gradually.
The math class was taught by a different teacher.
His surname was Li, he was in his fifties, wore reading glasses, and walked slowly.
The children all called him "Uncle Li".
He was responsible for setting questions, grading, and tutoring; Su Qingzhi only needed to communicate with him briefly.
As for the other classes, Zhu Hongyu said she didn't need to worry about them.
She only needed to focus on Chinese language, which made Su Qingzhi feel more at ease.
When she got home, Jiang Yongmei heard that she had really become a teacher.
I'm overjoyed to receive forty yuan a month in wages.
"My daughter has made something of herself! She's really impressive!"
She immediately made a meal of dumplings to celebrate for her.
The family sat around the small square table and enjoyed a lively dinner.
Even Mr. Jiang, who is usually not talkative, drank half a glass of wine more than usual.
Shen Cunpu specially gave her a military green cloth bag.
He said the bag was sturdy and could be used to carry textbooks.
Su Qingzhi said with a smile, "Thank you, Ashuo."
That "A-Shuo" sounded natural and affectionate.
Shen Cunpu's face turned red instantly, and his ears burned.
Seeing his expression, Su Qingzhi simply took a step closer and stood even closer to him.
She asked in a soft voice.
"A-Shuo, can you take me to school tomorrow morning?"
He wanted to nod, but was afraid of being too hasty.
I wanted to speak, but my throat felt blocked.
His gaze, however, unconsciously fell on the smile at the corner of her eyes.
He whispered, "Niannian."
As he spoke, his hand naturally wrapped around her waist.
Su Qingzhi raised an eyebrow; this person was getting bolder and bolder.
She suddenly tiptoed and gently bit his earlobe with her soft lips.
Shen Cunpu froze, his heart skipping a beat.
He instinctively tightened his arms, holding her tightly in his embrace.
But just then, I heard her cheerful voice.
"Company Commander Shen, your nose is bleeding again. Should we go to the clinic to get it checked out?"
Shen Cunpu pressed his forehead against hers, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly.
"I really want to get married soon."
Su Qingzhi pulled away from his embrace, a slight smile curving her lips.
"I don't want to wait any longer, I just want to marry you as soon as possible."
He was about to reach out and pull her back.
She nimbly sidestepped and ran out with a smile.
Her clear voice echoed from the courtyard.
"Mom, I'm home!"
Shen Cunpu stood still for a long time.
He forced himself to calm down.
But a smile that he couldn't hide always lingered at the corners of his mouth.
Meeting Su Qingzhi in this lifetime was truly his greatest fortune.
The next day, Su Qingzhi carried her brand-new canvas bag and stepped out of her house.
Just as she stepped out of the courtyard gate, she ran into Shen Zhiyu, who was about to leave.
Shen Zhiyu smiled when he saw Su Qingzhi.
"Oh, you're out so early?"
Su Qingzhi nodded in response.
"Yes, I have classes in the morning, so I need to go to school early to prepare."
After saying goodbye, Shen Zhiyu faced the rising sun and embarked on his journey back to Beijing.
Su Qingzhi has two classes in the morning: one is Chinese and the other is history.
The students were very well-behaved, and each of them sat up straight.
