Dream

Dream

While Lin Yan was in a coma, she seemed to have a dream in which everyone around her died and she was the only one left.

The dream was intermittent. Sometimes she dreamed of Song Yizhou, and sometimes she dreamed of Aning and the others.

But why was Song Yizhou's hair white in the dream? He kept hugging her and crying, asking her not to die.

Lin Yan couldn't help but feel a pain in his heart when he saw Song Yizhou breaking down and crying, "Azhou, I'm not dead, I'm here, don't cry."

The dream changed, and I saw familiar faces one after another, but they were all dead.

The first one was Song Xi, a cheerful girl on weekdays, but now she had a look of despair on her face. She tied the white silk to the beam of the house and walked towards death step by step.

Lin Yan subconsciously rushed over to hug Song Xi, who was about to suffocate to death, but he missed and watched Song Xi die.

Seeing her relieved expression before her death, Lin Yan wondered sadly what the stream had gone through to become like this.

Then it was Xiao Yue. She had her hair combed like a woman, and seemed to be married. She lay in her arms and called her "Sister", saying that she had wanted to call her that for a long time.

Then he left. Lin Yan couldn't help but shed tears, "Ayue, why did you die? You should have told me earlier. If you wanted to call me sister, I would have treated you as my sister a long time ago."

The scene changed, and it showed Aning lying on the bed with blue lips. Song Jing was crying and asking her not to leave him, but Aning left anyway.

Lin Yan shouted: "Aning, how could you die? Aren't you a great doctor and say you are a living god? How come you can't even save yourself?"

The next one was Song Yizhou. He seemed to be in a cage, sitting there. Just when Lin Yan thought he was different from the others, he suddenly spit out blood. Before he died, he looked into the void and said silently: "Ayan, I like you."

Lin Yan's limbs were cold, and before he could react, he saw Lin Yi. He had a dagger piercing his heart. The dagger was given to him by his master.

Lin Yan shed tears, "Ayi, why did you die?"

The scene continued, and there were many familiar faces to Lin Yan, including Lao Zhao, Song Xuan, Song Jing, and Tang Yuelin. Without exception, they were all dead.

Lin Yan's tears had dried up. She realized that this was a dream, but she seemed unable to wake up. Her eyelids seemed to weigh a thousand pounds and she couldn't lift them up no matter what.

Just like that, most of the people in Lin Yan's dream died. Lin Yan went from crying too weakly to feeling numb. Now she just wanted to find a way to wake up.

After an unknown amount of time, Lin Yan saw a white light. She walked over and opened her eyes to see a group of people surrounding her.

Zhou Ningning immediately hugged Lin Yan tightly, "Sister, you scared me to death, do you know? I thought you would never wake up again."

Lin Yan's eyes were stunned, and it took him a while to come back to his senses.

She raised her hand to wipe Zhou Ningning's tears and comforted her: "I'm fine now, look at you, your eyes are so red."

Then he took Zhou Ningning into his arms and looked at the people around him. Lin Yan felt extremely relieved that they were still alive.

Zhou Ningning just thought that her elder sister wanted to comfort her, so she let her hug her.

After a while, Lin Yan looked around and asked in confusion, "Where is Azhou?"

However, before anyone else could answer, Song Yizhou arrived. The two of them looked at each other, and the others tacitly left the room.

Song Yizhou's tense nerves collapsed in an instant, and tears fell and slid across his clothes.

Seeing Song Yizhou like this, Lin Yan couldn't help but think of the white-haired girl in his dream. Was Azhou's white hair due to her death?

Song Yizhou walked over, hugged Lin Yan tightly, buried his head in her hair, and his tears flowed uncontrollably into Lin Yan's clothes.

Lin Yan couldn't help but shudder. Song Yizhou hugged her too tightly, making it hard for her to breathe, but she didn't say anything. If Song Yizhou was lying here, she might have hugged him even tighter than he did.

In the end, Lin Yan pushed Song Yizhou away because his neck was too sore.

Song Yizhou held Lin Yan's shoulders tightly with both hands and asked nervously: "Are you still feeling uncomfortable anywhere? How is your wound recovering?"

Lin Yan pulled him down and sat him on the edge of the bed, "Don't worry, I'm fine, I can even get out of bed and walk a few times now."

"You still have the mind to joke?" Song Yizhou said helplessly.

"Then I'll stop joking and talk about business." Lin Yan's expression was serious. Thinking of Lin Yi's hesitant look, he asked: "What did you do during the time I was unconscious?"

Song Yizhou didn't say anything, but Lin Yan kept staring at him. He had no choice but to tell her everything he had done during this period of time.

After hearing this, Lin Yan couldn't believe his ears and said angrily: "Why don't you take down the Empress Dowager's palace as well as make such a big fuss?"

Song Yizhou's eyes flickered, and Lin Yan noticed it immediately: "You don't really have this idea, do you?"

Lin Yan rubbed his temples in disbelief, "No one stopped you?" After saying that, he thought about who in this group of people dared to stop him, and finally sighed helplessly. Fortunately, he had not yet taken the last step.

Song Yizhou suddenly said: "Since I have said everything I want to say, A'an, don't you have anything to say to me?"

Lin Yan felt a little guilty when he stared at him, "I have something to say to you."

Song Yizhou: "When you found out that Aning and the others were captured, why didn't you ask me for support first, but went there alone? A'an, do you know that if Xiao Jin had come a moment later, you would have been dead."

Lin Yan explained, "I was eager to save people at the time, and since the Duke of Zhenguo's men were there, I went to investigate alone. I didn't expect to fall into their trap..."

She said a lot, but finally gave in under Song Yizhou's gaze, "Okay, I was too arrogant. I thought I could rescue Aning and the others by myself."

Song Yizhou held Lin Yan's hand tightly and said solemnly: "Ayan, no matter what happens in the future, don't rush forward alone."

"When you were not around before, I was always alone," Lin Yan muttered.

After reacting, he looked at Song Yizhou and said, "That's not what I meant. I don't blame you."

Song Yizhou lowered his eyes, with a paranoia flashing in his eyes that Lin Yan could not see. He looked up at her eyes and said, "No matter what happens in the future, I will not leave. I will always be with you."

Lin Yan suddenly remembered what Song Yizhou said before he died in the dungeon in his dream. He said that he loved her.

Before this, Lin Yan had not realized his feelings for Song Yizhou.

She met Song Yizhou when she was seven years old. From the age of seven to sixteen, Song Yizhou could be said to be omnipresent in her nine years of life.

During these nine years, many people left Lin Yan, but Song Yizhou was the only one who stayed by her side without fail.

The days of practicing martial arts were boring, but no matter what time, Song Yizhou was always by her side. When she was practicing sword, Song Yizhou was reading a book beside her. When she was in seclusion, Song Yizhou would wait outside until she came out.

Later, after Song Yizhou recovered from his illness, Lao Lin dragged him to learn martial arts, and then it became a fight between her and him.

During those nine years, they were together every day and had already become the people who knew each other best. In Lin Yan's eyes, what was Song Yizhou? At least during those nine years of companionship, he was Lin Yan's brother.

When did Lin Yan's feelings for Song Yizhou begin to change? Perhaps it started on her sixteenth birthday, when Song Yizhou gave her the last hug. But that night was too hasty, and before she could catch that moment of excitement, Song Yizhou left. He was gone for seven years.

She always knew why Song Yizhou left without saying goodbye. The two of them knew each other too well. Song Yizhou didn't want her to be bound by anything and live according to her own wishes. Lin Yan knew all this, but when she woke up in the middle of the night, she would still blame him, blaming him for having to bear everything alone and why he didn't tell her anything.

During the seven years that Song Yizhou was gone, Lin Yan met many people and made many good friends, but no one was like Song Yizhou, who stayed by her side all the time.

Lin Yan didn't like celebrating her birthday very much. Everyone thought that her birthday was the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month. In fact, it was not the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month. She made up the number when Lin Yi asked her. Her memories before the age of seven were very vague, so vague that she had forgotten whether she had ever celebrated her birthday.

So at this time every year, Lin Yi and Song Yizhou would always drag her along to celebrate her birthday. Although she was reluctant every time, Old Lin guessed it and advised her that although she didn't know when she was born, she should still celebrate her arrival in this world.

After that, the eighth day of December really became her birthday.

After Song Yizhou left, she began to hate celebrating her birthday again. In the past, he would be there every December 8th, but every year after that, Lin Yan would wait for him, waiting for him to say "Happy Birthday".

Later she began to resent him. Whenever someone mentioned Song Yizhou to her, she would pretend to have forgotten him, but in fact, every time she was drunk she would call his name and ask when he would come back.

There were obviously many people around her who left her, but why did Song Yizhou's departure make her so sad? Lin Yan had never thought about this.

She traveled around the world and met men who expressed their feelings to her, such as the young master of Broken Sword Villa. However, this man was really sick. He could have been a good sword friend, but he was tactless and chased her every day. After she beat him up, he never came to see her again.

Later, Song Xuan said that he liked her, and Lin Yan still felt a little reluctant to part with this drinking buddy, but if he was like that foolish young master, she would not show mercy. Fortunately, Song Xuan was very considerate, and she was willing to continue being a drinking buddy with him.

Getting along with Song Yizhou was a habit that had accumulated over time, and Lin Yan had never thought that there would be any romantic relationship between them.

The main reason was that Song Yizhou was too good at hiding, and Lin Yan didn't notice it at all.

If Lin Yi knew what Lin Yan was thinking, she would probably vomit blood. Even a blind person could see how impure the look in Song Yizhou's eyes was when he looked at her. Everyone knew it, but Lin Yan was like a piece of wood, making everyone think that Song Yizhou had a one-sided love for her.

Lin Yan was actually quite helpless. Song Yizhou had been looking at her with the same eyes for ten years, so how could she see anything?

But perhaps it was also because of habit that everyone felt that all of Lin Yan's actions towards Song Yizhou were natural, such as his patience with Song Yizhou, his indulgence of all his actions, his unconditional trust in him, and his forgiveness no matter what he did. These were things that no one else had ever experienced.

Others have a bottom line in front of Lin Yan, and once it is touched, she will be ruthless, but in front of Song Yizhou, Lin Yan has no bottom line.

Before that dream, if Song Yizhou said "I like you" one day, Lin Yan might be caught off guard and run away subconsciously, but she would also calm down and discover her own feelings, instead of asking him mercilessly if he was joking like others did to her.

Now that she had such a dream, and thinking about Song Yizhou's usual abnormality, Lin Yan also realized her own feelings. If Azhou really said this to her, she would of course say, Me too, Azhou, I like you too.

Lin Yan couldn't help but glance at Song Yizhou and thought, if she hadn't had such a strange dream, this guy wouldn't have told her anything in his entire life.

"Is there something on my face?" Seeing Lin Yan staring at him, Song Yizhou asked curiously.

"No." Looking at Song Yizhou's calm expression, Lin Yan came up with an idea. She wanted to see how long he could hold it in. In the dream, he didn't say anything until he died.
