Yan Funing said, "Okay."
Wan Niang warned her youngest son: "When you go out, don't cause trouble for your sister-in-law."
"Mom, I know."
Fu Beimo responded quickly.
The last time I went to Prince Cheng’s Mansion, it was Long Lihui who was causing trouble.
It’s different now, he is going to look for medical books.
A quarter of an hour later, Yan Funing instructed the guards in the mansion to keep an eye on it, and she took Fu Beimo out.
--
Prince Jin's Mansion.
Long Lihui approached Long Yi and said, "Father, I heard someone is pretending to be my third brother."
Long Yi glanced at him calmly: "Have you finished today's homework?"
"No." Long Lihui frowned.
"Why don't you do your homework?"
Under the harsh scolding, Long Lihui almost crawled out of his father's study.
However, he did not go back to do his homework, but went to his mother, Concubine Ling.
"Lihui came at the right time." Ling stretched out her hand.
A maid was squatting on the ground, applying nail polish on her nails.
"Mother, I heard that someone was impersonating the dead man." Long Lihui lowered his voice without avoiding the maid on the ground.
Ling kicked the maid: "Why don't you get out now?"
The maid immediately bowed and retreated.
After the maid had gone away, Ling lowered her voice, "Son, your father hasn't come to my room for two days. In the past, whenever someone pretended to be 'dead', he wouldn't take it seriously. But now it's different. I want you to find out for sure whether the dead mother and child are really alive."
"Mom, it's all burnt, how can you not die?"
"Are you stupid? I'm afraid they'll escape."
Long Lihui was startled: "Son, go check it out."
"Well, show the courage of the Prince of Jin." Ling glanced at one of her painted nails and said, "Go quickly and call the maid in."
No one can shake her son's position as the crown prince.
Long Lihui responded, called the maid back, and then took people to check the news.
On the other side, Yan Funing entered Prince Cheng's Mansion.
Long Xu was overjoyed to see her coming.
"How nice of you, cousin. Are you here to paint for me?"
There was no need for servants to lead the way, Long Xu personally led people to the library.
"Actually, I'm here to borrow some medical books." Yan Funing stated her purpose directly.
Long Xu took the opportunity to say, "You can borrow the medical book, but I'll draw the diagram first."
Hearing this, Fu Beimo became angry: "Xiao Xuxu, you are so stingy."
"Don't interrupt, little kid." Long Xu glanced at him and looked at Yan Funing with a smile, "My dear cousin, please draw for me first."
"Damn it, you're only one month older than my sister-in-law, which means you're only four months older than me." Fu Beimo was very dissatisfied. "It's only four months old, and you're already acting so arrogantly."
Long Xu chuckled: "One day older is still older, Xiao Beimo is just a little brat."
Fu Beimo half closed his eyes and didn't want to talk to him.
Seeing them bickering as soon as they met, Yan Funing chuckled, "I can paint first. You two can help me find all the medical books on eye diseases and amnesia in the library."
"become."
"become."
The two young men hit it off immediately.
One is concerned about his mother's illness, the other is concerned about the precise crossbow map.
The three of them divided the work. Yan Funing went to the empty room to paint, while Long Xu took Fu Beimo to look for the medical books they needed on the various bookshelves.
Half an hour later, Yan Funing finished her painting, rolled up the drawing paper, and went to look for the two young men.
I saw them climbing on the ladder, looking for books high up.
The medical books they found on the ground were almost piled up into a small mountain.
"There are so many medical books?" she exclaimed.
"My library is huge, and it contains a wide variety of books," Long Xu said proudly. He turned and saw the drawing paper in Yan Funing's hand, and asked happily, "Are you done?"
Yan Funing held up the drawing paper: "Well, little cousin, hide the drawing first, and then help me find the book."
"Okay, okay."
Long Xu climbed down the ladder nimbly, and remembering what his grandfather had said, he took the painting and went to hide it himself.
Come back after a moment and continue climbing the ladder.
Yan Funing pulled a small stool and sat down, flipping through the books one by one to see if they were the medical books she needed.
When Fu Beimo put the books together, he asked, "Sister-in-law, do you still have to choose by yourself?"
"Well, I want to choose what I need based on your selection."
The three of them worked together, had lunch in the library, and were busy until dusk. Yan Funing picked out a whole box of books.
"Can I take these back and look at them?"
"Of course." Long Xu agreed immediately, "But some of the medical books are badly damaged, so you have to be careful when reading them, cousin."
Otherwise, when his father scolded him with a bamboo stick, his skin would probably be torn to pieces.
"Okay, don't worry about that." Yan Funing said, "I will return the books one by one and make sure they are not damaged in the slightest."
"Well, I believe in my cousin's character."
Long Xu nodded and personally escorted the person out of the mansion.
When Yan Funing and Fu Beimo returned to the Fu family, it was already dark.
"Fu Xi, Xin Heng, help me carry this box of books to the main courtyard." Yan Funing ordered, "Bei Mo, go and rest for a while, we'll have dinner later."
The bookshelves in Prince Cheng's mansion were quite high. Bei Mo had been holding up his hands to pick out books all day, and his arms were sore after doing this all day.
"Okay." Fu Beimo agreed.
I glanced sideways and saw a group of ferocious-looking people walking towards the mansion.
It seemed that he could not rest immediately, so he immediately ordered the doorman: "Go and call Ali, and call a few guards as well."
Yan Funing was unaware of the situation at the door and led Fu Xi and Li Xinheng into the main courtyard.
