Boss Ye drew his bow, aimed at the leading deer in the front of the herd, and shot an arrow into the back of its head.
The first deer fell to the ground with a bang before it could even make a sound.
The herd of deer suddenly became chaotic.
Without the lead deer, the remaining deer were like headless flies, not knowing which direction to run.
They were in a panic, rushing around, some of the deer fell into the stream, and some bumped into each other.
What's more, two strong stags collided head-on with each other, making a loud bang, and were knocked unconscious at the same time and fell down.
Boss Ye and Old Fourth Ye stared in amazement. How could this be possible?
"Brother, please continue shooting arrows!" Ye Laosi was the first to react.
The deer were colliding with each other and were unable to flee in all directions. If we didn't replenish our arrows now, when would we?
Boss Ye then remembered and quickly fired two arrows.
This time, because the deer were moving around, my accuracy was not as good as before. One arrow hit the vest of a doe, and the other arrow hit the thigh of a deer.
At this point, the remaining deer finally freed themselves from the tangle and fled in different directions.
Ye Lao Da and Ye Lao Si first caught up with the young stag that was shot in the thigh but was still trying to run away.
The two brothers worked together and finally pinned him to the ground, then tied his limbs tightly with ropes.
"Huh..." Ye Lao Si let out a breath, "Brother, don't chase the rest."
After all, the current harvest has far exceeded their expectations.
Boss Ye was also a little out of breath and said with a smile: "You said it as if you can catch up."
He felt something was wrong as soon as he said it, and was worried that Ye Lao Si, who was in a sensitive period, would mind.
Ye Laosi, however, did not take it seriously at all. He looked at the trophies on the ground, including three strong male deer, a female deer, and a wounded young male deer, and smiled so hard that his back teeth were almost showing.
After catching his breath, Boss Ye got up and tied up the two deer that he had knocked unconscious.
If these two big guys wake up in a while, it will not be so easy to subdue them again.
The two looked at the sika deer all over the ground, feeling both happy and worried.
"Brother, there are so many deer. How can we get them back?" asked Ye Laosi.
"There must be a road in front of Chedao Mountain..." Before Boss Ye finished speaking, he heard the sound of water behind him.
The two of them looked back and immediately laughed.
The deer that had just been pushed into the water by its companions thought that there was no danger here and swam back.
Boss Ye grabbed hold of Fourth Brother Ye who was trying to get up after hearing the noise.
The two men tried to breathe as lightly as possible and hid behind the deer.
The deer that swam back was obviously a little confused when it saw its companions lying on the ground, and its steps slowed down.
It raised its head and looked around, but found nothing unusual.
So it finally plucked up the courage, came to the head deer, and nudged its body with its mouth.
Only when it realized that the deer was really motionless did it let out a neigh.
I don't know if it was feeling sad for the leader deer or calling for other companions.
Boss Ye seized the opportunity and instantly drew his bow and shot an arrow.
The feather arrow pierced the deer's neck directly, causing it to fall directly on the deer.
"Brother, you've hunted so many deer, isn't it time for us to go home?
However, it is a headache to transport so many deer back.
"You stay here and I'll go back and call someone over." Boss Ye suggested a solution.
"Okay, actually, I should be the one running errands." Ye Lao Si volunteered, "Brother, if you stay, maybe you can set traps and catch some pheasants or rabbits or something. If I stay, I'll just be able to sit there and sleep."
"Then after we return to the village..." Boss Ye was too embarrassed to say out loud his worried words.
But Ye Lao Si reacted immediately and said with a smile: "Brother, I'm not made of paper. What can a little spit from others do to me?"
"Okay, it's best if you think so.
Boss Ye patted Old Fourth Ye's shoulder and let him go back to find someone. He actually used his free time to set several nooses around to see if he could get some more unexpected gains during this time.
Ye Lao Si has a good memory. Although he was brought in by Ye Lao Da, he still carefully memorized the landmark features of each place, so the journey back was very smooth.
However, it was already noon and most people in the village had started going out.
Some people go out together, while others just want to chat because they can’t sit still at home.
Many people saw Ye Laosi and immediately started whispering to each other.
It's really uncomfortable to be stared at by people out of the corner of their eyes or even nakedly wherever you go!
Ye Laosi walked all the way home and told his family about the many sika deer he had hunted.
Now, let alone the family members, even Mr. Cen, Shi Lei and Meng Yu said it was impossible after hearing it.
Shi Lei and Meng Yu even offered to help, mainly because they wanted to see if it was true.
So Ye Lao Si quickly drove the carriage, took Shi Lei and Meng Yu, and went up the mountain to find Ye Lao Da.
The place where Boss Ye hunted the sika deer was a little bit remote, and the carriage had reached halfway when the mountain road disappeared and could no longer be driven forward.
Everyone had to get off the bus, walk in to find Boss Ye, and then carry out the sika deer one by one.
The last deer was carried out by Shi Lei and Boss Ye.
Ye Lao Si said, "Let's go home. If we walk faster, we might be able to make it back in time for lunch!"
