Wei Yan sat on it, nodded for him to sit down, and then he yawned.
"Master, didn't you get enough rest?" Qin Hexuan asked hurriedly with concern.
"It's all your fault." Wei Yan said this without any reason.
"Me?" Qin Hexuan thought about it and realized that he had been studying very hard during this period and had completed his homework very well. He even didn't ask for leave because Qingtian didn't come to play with him.
Qin Hexuan couldn't think of anything so he just asked directly: "Why do you say that, sir?"
"It's all because of those dumplings you sent me." Wei Yan shook his head and said, "I had a full lunch, and just when I was about to take a nap, you sent someone to deliver dumplings.
"You know what, Mrs. Ye's cooking skills are getting better and better.
"These dumplings are so delicious! I've traveled all over the country for so many years, and I've never tasted dumplings like this."
"Sir, when I asked someone to deliver the dumplings, I said they were made by Mr. Cen himself. How can you be so sure that it was made by Mrs. Ye?"
“The dumplings may have been made by Mr. Cen, but the filling, as soon as I tasted it, I knew it was definitely mixed by Mrs. Ye.

After hearing this, Qin Hexuan immediately started thinking.

"I can grant you leave, but there is a condition."

"No." Qin Hexuan shook his head.
"Are these dumplings delicious?" Wei Yan asked again.
"It's delicious." This time Qin Hexuan answered with a firmer tone.
"That's it, so do you think it's worth a try?"
Qin Hexuan nodded repeatedly and stood up impatiently, saying, "I'll ask someone to get a carriage, go back and change clothes, and then come back to pick up Master."
Soon, the carriage was waiting at the door.
Qin Hexuan followed Wei Yan all the way out, helped Wei Yan into the car, and then he jumped in himself.
Wei Yan nodded after seeing this and said with satisfaction: "Although you have returned from outside the Great Wall, I see that your skills have not declined at all."
"Yes, I practice for a while every morning and evening now." Qin Hexuan said, "It's not to achieve anything, but just to strengthen my body and give myself the ability to protect myself."

As for the two older brothers, Qin Hexuan always felt that there was something between him and them because they did not grow up together.

The Qin family's carriage soon stopped at the gate of the Cen Mansion.
Song Tao went downstairs to knock on the door, said a few words to the doorman, and then came back to ask Wei Yan and Qin Hexuan to get out of the car.
"Mr. Wei, sir, we are very lucky. We arrived at the right time. Mr. Cen and Miss Qingtian have just woken up from their nap.
"The doorman has already gone in to pass the message, let's just go in directly."
As soon as the two followed the servants of the Cen Mansion to the hall, they saw Old Cen, Mrs. Ye and Qingtian coming out from the backyard.
"Mr. Wei, Brother Qin!" Qingtian immediately greeted them loudly as soon as he saw them.
"Hello, Qingtian!" Wei Yan bent down and responded to Qingtian. "I haven't seen you for a long time. Have you forgotten the calligraphy I taught you last time? How is your writing going?"
"I haven't forgotten it. I'll write it to Mr. Wei later." Qingtian said sweetly.
"Okay, I'll take a look later!"
Qin Hexuan stood beside Wei Yan and waited patiently for him to finish speaking before going forward to talk to Qingtian.
"What have you been doing at home recently?" Qin Hexuan asked simply. He knew Qingtian would start talking on his own.
Sure enough, Qingtian immediately pulled him aside and sat him down, chattering to him about what he had seen and experienced in the past few days.
Qin Hexuan would comment from time to time, and then Qingtian would continue to talk incessantly.
The two of them sat there face to face, chatting so intently that there was an atmosphere where no one else could interrupt.
Seeing that Qin Hexuan had been received by Qingtian, Mr. Cen quickly asked Wei Yan to take a seat.
"I often heard of Mr. Wei's name when I was still in the palace.
"I never thought that at my age, I would still have the opportunity to have tea and chat with you. It is truly an honor."
"Mr. Cen, your praise is too much. I really don't deserve it!"
After the two exchanged pleasantries for a few moments, Wei Yan finally got to the point. "Actually, the main reason I came here was because I tried the dumplings made by Elder Cen and Sister Ye at noon."
When Mr. Cen heard this, he looked at Wei Yan in surprise.
