"If the garden here is so unique, it's definitely not to be missed."
Madam Lu was very happy to hear this, and quickly called people in and asked them to take Qin Hexuan for a walk in the garden.
When Ye Changhan and Ye Changkun heard that there was a Western-style garden to see, they both turned their eyes to Mr. Jiao.
Although they both often opposed Mr. Jiao at home, when they came to such an unfamiliar environment, the two children subconsciously began to act according to Mr. Jiao's instructions.
I guess I can barely say that I have begun to accept and recognize him as a gentleman.
Mr. Jiao was in a good mood, but he coldly rejected their idea of going to the garden.
"Don't worry, it's just a chance to experience Western culture. I've already arranged something better for you."
After hearing what Mr. Jiao said, Ye Changhan and Ye Changkun shuddered at the same time. They felt that the way Mr. Jiao spoke was so scary, as if something bad was going to happen again.
Madam Lu invited Mr. Wei and Qingtian to the east compartment, while Mr. Jiao brought Ye Changhan and Ye Changkun to the east wing.
There was already a foreigner waiting in the room.
The foreigner was quite outgoing. When he saw someone enter the room, he immediately stood up with a smile and said a lot of greetings.
Although Mr. Jiao didn't understand, he could roughly guess what he meant by looking at his expression.
"Madam Lu has told you what to do, right?
"After the matter is completed, I will have someone send the porcelain I promised you."
After saying this, Mr. Jiao suddenly realized that he had made a stupid mistake. How could Westerners understand what he was saying?
Fortunately, this enthusiastic Westerner was not unhappy. Instead, he listened to Mr. Jiao's words seriously, then raised his thumb and kept repeating: "Donkey good paper, donkey good paper!"
Mr. Jiao was completely bewildered, thinking that he couldn't understand this Western language either. He could only wait for Madam Lu and Mr. Wei to finish their conversation and then call someone over to help.
In the end, Ye Changhan muttered beside him, "What's wrong with this guy? He keeps repeating Madam Lu, Madam Lu."
Mr. Jiao suddenly realized that he had been too prejudiced and thought that the other party was speaking Western.
Now that Ye Changhan had pointed it out to him, he realized that what the man had said were the three words "Mrs. Lu" which were spoken in extremely unstandard Mandarin.
So Mr. Jiao nodded quickly and said, "Yes, Madam Lu, wait for her to come over and let her help us communicate with each other."
The Westerner continued to repeat "Mrs. Lu" and then patted his chest.
Mr. Jiao was still wondering whether this action also means "Just leave it to me and rest assured" in the West?
The Westerner felt that he had communicated clearly, so he spoke Western language directly to Ye Changhan and Ye Changfeng.
Seeing that the other party was doing exactly what he had instructed, Mr. Jiao felt relieved immediately. He did not interrupt him, but moved a stool and sat next to him, holding a stick that he had found from somewhere and shaking it back and forth, which was a bit distracting.
At the beginning, Ye Changhan and Ye Changkun both found it very novel. They not only listened carefully to what the other party was saying, but also kept trying to imitate the pronunciation.
Seeing Qingtian doing it easily before gave them the feeling that it was not a big deal.
It wasn't until I actually did it that I realized how difficult it was.
The two children studied for a while, but they didn't understand anything and gradually lost interest in Western languages.
Once you lose interest, Western language sounds like an incomprehensible book. It is not only extremely boring but also has a hypnotic effect.
But Mr. Jiao was sitting right next to them, holding a stick he had picked up from somewhere. If he saw anyone distracted or dozing off, he would just poke them with the stick.
The two of them had no choice but to listen to the song, and in the end, Ye Changkun even cried.
"Didn't you say you wanted to see Westerners and listen to Western languages?
"I've let you listen to it now, why are you still crying?"
Ye Changhan felt really distressed when he saw his brother’s tearful face.
Of course, he also felt sorry for his ears.
"Teacher, I was wrong. I admit defeat. From now on, I will never skip classes or sneak out with my brother. I will also study hard every day..."
"Do you really know you're wrong?" Mr. Jiao asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, I really know I was wrong, and I will never dare to do it again." Ye Changhan said this time with great sincerity.
Mr. Jiao nodded and said with satisfaction, "It's good that you know you're wrong. Since you've made so many mistakes, I'll listen to you for a while longer so that you can remember it!"
When they heard that they had to continue listening and talking, the Westerner did not complain, but the two brothers immediately collapsed.
"Mr. Jiao, I really can't listen to this anymore. I would rather go back and memorize the text than listen to this again!" Ye Changhan said with red eyes.
Mr. Jiao said calmly, "Why are you in such a hurry? I used a set of fine porcelain to buy two hours of their time!
"If it ends so quickly, it would be a waste."
Ye Changhan and Ye Changkun were shocked when they heard this. What? Two hours?
The two of them suddenly felt a black screen before their eyes and collapsed in their chairs.
In the east wing on the other side, after Mr. Wei and Qingtian sat down, Madam Lu said to Qingtian formally, "I was a little too abrupt when we first met.
"But after getting to know you for a while, I still really hope to accept you as my student."
Seeing that Madam Lu did not ask for his opinion first, but went directly to talk to Qingtian, Mr. Wei slightly approved of her approach in his heart.
