“So the clan sets aside a portion of money every year to help clan members who are in financial difficulty.
"Orphans whose parents have both passed away, childless elderly people, and people with illnesses like Ye Laizi can all get some food or money every year.

Even Old Mrs. Ye, seeing so many small root vegetables, was delighted but also began to feel a little worried.

His stomach had been growling with hunger for a long time, so he kept urging them, "Can you guys hurry up? Are you so reluctant to go home for dinner?"

Ye Changrui packed his schoolbag and went to help the youngest Nian Nian pack her things. He walked out of the house carrying one in each hand, and then the twins came out one after another.
Ye Changzhao, carrying his schoolbag, skipped after Ye Changxue and said, "Second brother, you eat the most at noon, so you get hungry the fastest!"
"You know nothing. You'll know when you're my age."
"I don't know shit. I just know that my elder brother is just like you!" Ye Changzhao said, making a face at him, then ran home.
"Stop right there, kid! How dare you talk to your brother like that? You have no respect for your elders. I'll catch you if I catch you..."
Ye Changxue had just chased for a few steps when he saw someone suddenly rushing out from the side of the road.
Ye Changzhao couldn't stop and bumped into someone, and both of them fell to the ground.
Ye Changxue quickened his pace and ran over, pulling Ye Changzhao up from the ground. Protectively, he said to the person opposite him, "Why did you suddenly rush out? Can you afford to pay for the damage you inflicted on my brother?"
He wanted to say something else, but he felt Ye Changzhao pulling at his sleeve.
"Second brother, does Ye Laizi look a little strange? He's so scary..."
Only then did Ye Changxue see clearly that the person who had just rushed out from the roadside was actually Ye Laizi.
