Helan Yi gazed intently at her face; that exquisitely beautiful face lingered in his mind all day.
He wanted to say: Don't wait for me anymore! But his fingers held her hand tightly.
Li Yunyan asked gently, "Have you had dinner yet, my husband?"
Her words brought him back to his senses. He abruptly released his hand, turned around, and pretended to be nonchalant.
"I've already used it."
"Shall I have someone prepare water for your bath?"

When Li Yunyan crawled out from under the covers, He Lanyi stared wide-eyed.
He looked away in a panic, "You, how could you..."
He can't even speak clearly anymore.
With a smile in her eyes, Li Yunyan crawled towards him step by step.
"My husband."
Her voice seemed to have a hook, making He Lanyi tremble all over.
She straddled him, looking at him with misty eyes, "My husband, goodnight kiss."
He Lanyi closed his eyes, gripping the blanket tightly beneath him, thinking that he would cover his head with the blanket after her kiss was over.
Unexpectedly, her kiss today was unusually long, unlike the fleeting touches of the past. She gently nibbled and sucked at his lips, gradually moving closer to his neck and shoulders.

Looking into her tearful, aggrieved eyes, He Lanyi felt helpless and weakly argued, "No! No!"
"Then why are you so heartless towards me?"
Her tears fell again, and she bit her lower lip as she said, "If my husband truly dislikes me, then I will have no choice but to leave!"
"No!" He finally gripped her shoulders, his voice resolute. "I don't agree!"
Li Yunyan placed one hand on her chest, her expression aggrieved and sad. "But I'm also sad. My husband avoids me like the plague now, making me feel that all my efforts are worthless in your eyes."
Looking into her resolute eyes, He Lanyi felt a pang of pain in his heart, as if she were really going to leave him.

He rolled over and pinned her down, as if that would prevent her from suddenly running away.
"Yunyan, I..." He was torn between his own feelings and his own. Looking at her red eyes, he could no longer bring himself to say anything that might hurt her.
