Li Yunyan was depressed in her room for only half a day. In the afternoon, she was amused by Li Yungui.
Seeing that her sister finally put on a smile, Li Yungui breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Sister, how about I take you out for a walk? There are so many new shops on the street, and a new pancake stall that smells amazing!"
She glanced at the sky. "It's too late today, how about tomorrow?"
"Alright! I'll take you out first thing tomorrow morning, and we siblings can have a great time!"

When Mr. Li returned home that evening, he was quite surprised to find his daughter at home.
Li's mother pulled him back to his room immediately, saying, "Don't ask me anything. I'm feeling really upset!"
"Did you have a fight?"
Mother Li nodded.
"Whose fault is it?"

"That brat! What did he promise me when he came to propose? It hasn't even been a few months and he's already made my daughter go back to her parents' house! I'll teach that bastard a lesson!"
Li's father had a mild temper, but he was also extremely protective of his children. Even this kind-hearted man could lose his temper when it came to family matters.
"Hey, keep your voice down!"
Mother Li pulled him aside and whispered, "Our daughter just got back today. Don't ask her anything for the next few days. Let her have some peace and quiet at home. Once she's willing to talk, we'll know what happened!"
Mr. Li, hands on his hips, said, "Then we'll listen to Madam for now! If I'm not there when that brat comes looking for us, don't let him take our daughter away so easily!"

He Lanyi returned to the mansion in the middle of the night and, as he had done in the past few days, sat in the courtyard with his eyes closed all night.
As dawn approached, he tiptoed into his room to change his clothes, and then he realized something was wrong.
Why can't I hear her breathing in the room?
He suddenly pulled back the bed curtains and found the room empty.
"Yunyan?"
"Yunyan, where are you?"
After searching the entire house but still not finding anyone, He Lanyi realized something was wrong!
He hurriedly knocked on the door next door, and Qianfan came out yawning.
"My lord?"
He Lanyi's face was as black as ink. "Where is Madam?"
"The lady returned to her parents' home yesterday. Doesn't the lord know that?"
Damn it!
He Lanyi cursed under his breath and flew away instantly.
Li Yunyan was woken up early by Li Yungui, who urged her excitedly, "Sis! Hurry up! There's a newly opened noodle shop that's really delicious! The broth will be sold out if you go too late!"
Li Yunyan rolled over. "Isn't this way too early!"
"Sister, get up quickly! Qingyin! Come here and help your sister wash up!"
"They're here!"
Li Yunyan had just opened her eyes when the two dragged her out the door.
Then I met Su Zhan.
Su Zhan was dressed in black, his face looked tired, and his hair was still damp with moisture.
What's this? Did you stand outside all night?
"Zhan...Brother Su! What are you doing here?" Li Yunyan asked.
Upon hearing her address, Su Zhan's eyes darkened slightly, but he quickly put on a smile again.
"I heard you were back, so I came to see you."
"Brother Su Zhan! You've come at the perfect time! We were just about to go to the noodle shop on the next street! Would you like to come with us?"
Li Yungui's mouth was too big, and he spoke without thinking; Li Yunyan couldn't stop him in time.
He could only smile faintly and say, "Brother Su, if you haven't had breakfast, would you like to join us?"
"good!"
The next street wasn't far; they walked there and arrived in less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea. However, the group that had started as three now consisted of four.
Li Yungui chattered incessantly the whole way, seemingly unaware of any awkwardness.
When we arrived at the noodle shop, it had only been open for a short time, but there were already many customers inside, all seemingly there to catch this delicious noodle.
Luckily they arrived early, and there was still plenty of gravy and other condiments left.
"Shopkeeper! Four bowls of braised noodles, one without scallions!" Li Yungui shouted as soon as he entered the shop.
"Alright! Four bowls of noodles with braised meat, please wait a moment, sir!"
When the four bowls of noodles were served, Li Yunyan was dumbfounded.
All four bowls of noodles were covered with green scallions, which gave her a headache.
"Shopkeeper! Are you sure you're not mistaken? I just said I wanted a bowl of noodles without scallions!" Li Yungui shouted again.
"Oh dear! Sir, I'm so sorry! I didn't hear you clearly! How about I take this bowl of noodles away and make you a new one?"
Li Yungui asked, "Do you still have any of this braising liquid?"
The shopkeeper slapped his forehead, "We're out of those today! But I can give you something else! How about plain noodles?"
Li Yungui shook his head, "No way! We came here specifically for this!"
"Yun Gui, forget it."
Li Yunyan, who always disliked trouble, said softly, "It's alright, shopkeeper, I can choose for myself!"
The shopkeeper breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "Thank you, sir! I'll get back to work now!"
Li Yunyan picked up her chopsticks, intending to pick out the scallions, when she saw Su Zhan take the bowl over.
"I'll choose, I like scallions!"
"This..." Even in modern times, this is a bit ambiguous!
She glanced at Li Yungui and Qingyin, hoping they could smooth things over. But the two ungrateful kids were engrossed in slurping their noodles and didn't hear a word they were saying.
Su Zhan didn't look up, and said while picking out the noodles, "You have to eat the noodles while they're hot. I can pick them out quickly, they'll be ready in a bit!"
"Thank you very much, Brother Su!"
