His expression was both bewildered and silly, and Li Yunyan believed that he genuinely didn't know.

Li Yunyan rolled her eyes at him, turned her back to him, picked up a wooden basin to wash a few pieces of green vegetables, and pouted, saying, "Don't you know how your cousin treats you... Humph!"
She gave a soft hum and ignored him.
Xia Xiunian was completely baffled. He had only said half of what he wanted to say, so who could possibly guess what he meant?
He turned to face her, bent down to look at her face, and asked, "Yanyan, what did you say about my cousin? Did she bully you? Was she giving you a hard time when you came to my house last time?"
No matter what he said, Li Yunyan ignored him.
Start rolling out the dough.
Xia Xiunian was so anxious that he scratched his head and paced around her.
The water in the pot had already boiled. Li Yunyan rolled out the dough and threw it in. In no time, the noodles were cooked.
Then I quickly cleaned the pan and fried two eggs. A bowl of fragrant noodles was ready.
Xia Xiunian, with a keen eye, carried both bowls to the table in the main room, then returned to help Li Yunyan clean up the kitchen. He acted extremely obsequiously.
"Yanyan! The noodles you cooked are delicious!"
He ate his noodles while praising her, occasionally glancing at her with a nervous look.
It looked as pitiful as a big dog wagging its tail.
Seeing his genuinely innocent expression, Li Yunyan sighed and revealed her plan.
"Xia Xiunian".
His lowered eyes instantly lit up, and he sat up straight. "Yes! Yanyan, you tell me!"
"Have you ever considered marrying into the Li family?"
