He carried Li Yunyan all the way, and he cursed her the whole way, until they reached the villa, where he lifted her off the carriage.
The steward and several servants came out of the villa. When they saw that the prince was holding a woman, they all lowered their heads and pretended not to see her.
Gu Yingzhi ordered in a deep voice, "Take good care of the children. If even a single hair is lost, I will hold you responsible!"
"Yes, Your Highness!"
Seeing that she couldn't break free, Li Yunyan quickly added, "And my maid!"
Seeing that she still had the mind to bargain with him, Gu Yingzhi's lips curled up slightly, and he felt a little more at ease.
"As long as Yanyan is obedient, I will grant you anything you ask!"
Gu Yingzhi carried her and strode forward, passing through the front yard, the hanging flower gate, and the covered corridor, before finally entering a spacious and exquisite courtyard.
He carried her into his bedroom, closed the door, and then gently placed her on the bed.
Once she was free, Li Yunyan pushed him away. She didn't bother to look around the room; she just stared at him warily.
"Gu Yingzhi, what do you want with me here?"
He had a lazy expression, with a touch of roguishness.
"You're my woman. What do you want with me bringing you back?"
