Chapter 244 Jealous of Everyone
The tomb raiders were digging around a hole with tree branches. When they saw someone coming, they all looked up at Chen Jin and Yan Yu.
One of the tomb raiders paused for a moment, then lowered his head and continued digging: "Oh, you've come..."
After digging a couple of times, he realized what was happening and suddenly looked up at them: "You finished chatting so quickly?"
Yan Yu sighed and rubbed his forehead, feeling that his reaction was far too slow.
"Hello." The people at the construction site greeted the two with smiles.
"Hello." Shen Jin quickly responded with a smile, and Yan Yu also smiled at them.
Then, Yan Yu continued to watch their movements without frowning.
Shen Jin was also somewhat puzzled, wondering what they were doing. This action seemed both funny and familiar, but he couldn't quite place it for the moment.
"What are you doing?" Yan Yu asked.
"We're digging a snake hole," one of the tomb raiders replied with a laugh.
"Snake hole?!" Shen Jin was startled and instinctively hid behind Yan Yu.
Yan Yu quickly hugged Shen Jin and rubbed his arm.
Only then did Shen Jin realize what he had just done, and he was immediately embarrassed.
"What are you doing digging up snake nests?" Yan Yu asked irritably.
The tomb raiders knew that Shen Jin was afraid of snakes, and they all laughed when they saw Shen Jin's subconscious action.
"Catch the snake out to bite Ah Jin!" One of the tomb raiders couldn't hold back any longer and burst into laughter.
Shen Jin was immediately annoyed and embarrassed, but didn't know what to say.
"That's enough," Yan Yu threatened.
The tomb raiders laughed mockingly again.
"Alright, stop digging, let's go back." Yan Yu then composed himself and said to the others.
Everyone was happily digging for snakes when they heard Yan Yu's words and were immediately stunned.
"Why go back? Aren't you going to catch snakes with us?" one of the tomb raiders asked with a smile.
"Why are you catching snakes? We're not catching any more. Bai Yujin said he'd treat you to dinner, so come with us." Yan Yu didn't give the tomb raiders a friendly look.
Jing would always use things like this to scare Shen Jin.
The tomb raiders weren't angry; on the contrary, they were even happier.
"Is it that Boss Bai who's treating us to dinner?" one of the tomb raiders asked with a smile.
"Hmm," Yan Yu replied irritably.
"You guys go ahead, you've had enough fun. We should go back and rest; we have work to do tomorrow," one of the workers said.
Upon hearing his words, the tomb raiders immediately turned to look.
"Okay, thank you for bringing us here," one of the tomb raiders said with a smile.
"You're welcome. It's been a lot of fun with you guys. This is my first time ever trying to find a snake's nest, even though I didn't manage to find one."
Upon hearing this, everyone burst into laughter again.
Afterwards, everyone went back together. After seeing off the workers, the tomb raiders went to Bai Yujin's place with Shen Jin and Yan Yu.
"I think Mr. Bai is a pretty nice guy, he even invited us to dinner," one of the tomb raiders suddenly said.
Another tomb raider laughed and replied, "Haha, yeah, anyway, whoever treats us to dinner is a good person."
Hearing their conversation, Yan Yu immediately gave them a disdainful look: "You've been bought off with just one meal?"
The tomb raiders all laughed.
"Haha, that's right. There's nothing that can't be bought off with a meal. If there is, then two meals will do," one of the tomb raiders joked.
Yan Yu scoffed and stopped talking to them.
"But what does this Mr. Bai look like? Is he handsome? We haven't seen him yet." After a while, another tomb raider asked.
Just as Yan Yu was about to answer, he heard Shen Jin reply: "He's quite handsome, a real catch."
Yan Yu was immediately jealous and felt particularly unbalanced, as Shen Jin had never praised him like that before.
The tomb raiders all laughed.
"Really? Even Ah Jin says he's handsome, so he must be really handsome, hahaha!"
Shen Jin smiled but didn't say anything.
"What's so handsome about him? He's just two eyes and a mouth." Yan Yu snorted, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
Upon hearing Yan Yu's words, the tomb raiders were stunned for a moment, but then they all became eager to watch the excitement unfold.
"Is Yan Yu jealous?" one of the tomb raiders asked meaningfully.
Yan Yu ignored him.
"I think he's definitely jealous. Yan Yu gets jealous of everyone."
"Bullshit, Yan Yu has never been jealous of you."
"Hahaha...it's all because you're not handsome."
Listening to their conversation, Yan Yu was speechless. He really didn't want to talk to them, feeling that it would lower his IQ.
Shen Jin glanced at Yan Yu, but didn't bother with him and didn't say anything.
Then, the tomb raiders started asking Bai Yujin another question: "What should we say when we see him later?"

Bai Yujin chuckled twice and replied, "I didn't make it. I just brought two chefs with me because I was going to be staying here for a long time."
Upon hearing Bai Yujin's words, the tomb raiders' admiration for him reached a new level.
"Rich people are different." One of the tomb raiders, engrossed in his meal, gave Bai Yujin a thumbs-up with his left hand.
Bai Yujin smiled but didn't say anything.
Afterwards, Bai Yujin took out some wine for the tomb raiders to drink.
With the wine, the tomb raiders' goodwill towards Bai Yujin had skyrocketed.
Yan Yu ate silently without saying a word, occasionally putting some food on Chen Jin's plate.
Finally, everyone was stuffed, and Bai Yujin arranged a place for them to sleep.
Shen Jin originally wanted to sleep alone, but Yan Yu insisted on staying with him.
"Don't follow me anymore." Shen Jin looked at Yan Yu, somewhat helplessly.
This was the third time he had repeated the sentence, but Yan Yu simply wouldn't listen.
"I want to protect you. I'm afraid something might happen to you in the middle of the night," Yan Yu said firmly.

Hearing Yan Yu say he understood, Shen Jin didn't say anything more and went to bed to sleep.
Yan Yu lay quietly beside him, not moving at all.
After waiting for a while and confirming that Yan Yu had no intention of making any trouble, Shen Jin closed his eyes, relaxed his body, and began to sleep.
Soon, Shen Jin fell asleep.
Yan Yu sensed that Shen Jin had fallen asleep, so he turned over and carefully examined Shen Jin.

The next morning, everyone woke up quite early. After breakfast, Bai Yujin led them around the construction site.
"I'm developing a tourism project here," Bai Yujin explained to Shen Jin and the others as they walked.

Yan Yu listened quietly from the side.
Although he thought Bai Yujin had done a really good job with this project, he didn't show it on his face and still looked disdainful.
The tomb raiders didn't quite understand these things, but they still thought they were very impressive.
Afterwards, Bai Yujin led everyone to visit several other places.
Shen Jin suddenly asked Bai Yujin, "So how much longer are you going to stay here?"
