Chapter 23: The lunatic starts to go crazy...

Chapter 23: The lunatic starts to go crazy...

When Qi Xu heard her pretending to be pitiful and trying to gain sympathy after being rejected by someone, he rolled his eyes in his heart.

She thought Jiang Hongyi would continue to pay attention to her, but she didn't expect Jiang Hongyi to not even look back at her.

Instead, he tugged at her sleeve and looked up to indicate the direction of the bus stop.

Qi Xu immediately understood what he meant and walked straight towards the bus stop.

As the three of them were walking, they heard the tail following behind them, dragging its shoes on the road, making a noise.

This clearly reminded them all the time that they were being followed behind. Although they didn't speak, the sound of their slippers silently expressed their grievances.

However, no one turned around to pay attention to her and let her follow behind. After all, the road was so wide that no one could control other people's personal freedom of walking.

Jiang Hongyi was waiting for the bus to the family compound when it stopped at the bus stop.

As soon as the door opened, he quickly walked up the stairs and handed the ticket to the conductor, raising his finger to indicate that there were only three people.

After the ticket seller nodded to show that he understood, a hoarse female voice suddenly came from behind everyone.

"Conductor, we are in this together."

"Ma'am, free fares are not allowed on buses. The soldier in front of me has already told me that there are only three of them in the group."

"Please pay your bus ticket according to the regulations."

Chen Lin just wanted to pretend to be aggrieved in front of the ticket seller and try to get away with it, but now she was stuck here in the open, she felt extremely embarrassed.

She took out the bus ticket that Jiang Hongyi had just given her from her pocket and stuffed it into the conductor's hand. She raised her hand to cover her face and found an empty seat to sit down.

She still felt ashamed. Qi Xu felt that someone as shameless as her could still be saved.

But some people just don't want to play by the rules. After the bus arrived at the gate of the family compound, the three of them followed the crowd to get off the bus, and Chen Lin once again followed at the end.

Qi Xu said that she wanted to retract her previous idea that Chen Lin could still be saved. At the moment, it seemed that this woman was simply hopeless.

When the three of them were about to enter the family compound, the comrade standing guard at the gate recognized Jiang Hongyi and raised his hand in a formal salute.

"Hello, Captain Jiang! Hello, sister-in-law! Hello, uncle!"

The sound was almost like shouting a slogan, so loud that it caused a brief tinnitus in Qi Xu's ears.

She raised her hand and poked her tinnitus-inducing ear with her fingers, nodding and saying, "Hello, comrade."

I was still wondering, does this young comrade have sharp eyes? How can he tell that she and Jiang Hongyi are husband and wife?

"Sister-in-law, I need to register the basic information of the military dependents here."

Before Qi Xu could figure it out, the young comrade, smiling, gestured to guide her and Qi Hong into the office.

The two of them filled out all the basic information. It was not until she and Qi Hong each held a military dependents pass that she realized the management of the family compound was so strict.

Just when the comrades in the office were holding the record book of vacant houses in the family compound and were about to go with Jiang Hongyi and his group to choose a house, the comrade on guard stopped Chen Lin who wanted to follow in.

"I'm sorry, this lesbian's family compound is under military management. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to enter."

"Look carefully. I'm Chen Lin, a cultural and art soldier from the Jingbin Island Political Department. I live in the family housing complex."

Chen Lin was stopped outside the iron fence of the family compound. She was so angry that she couldn't control the decibel level of her voice. In an instant, her usual clapping voice turned into that of a roaring shrew.

"It turned out to be Comrade Chen Lin. Sorry, I didn't recognize you because I'm not very good at seeing."

The young comrade at the sentry post was astonished and scratched the back of his head for a while, muttering to himself why Comrade Chen Lin looked different from before, and then he let her in.

With the introduction of their office colleagues, Jiang Hongyi and Qi Xu looked at the interior structure of the building and the structure of the bungalow with a yard.

Jiang Hongyi is at the battalion commander level and can choose between an apartment building and a bungalow.

Qi Xu was standing on the fork in the road separating the buildings and the bungalows, hugging his elbows and supporting his chin with one hand, thinking.

She considered that the three of them would live in the family compound in the future, and the two-bedroom, one-living room suite in the building seemed too small for them. In fact, she thought a bungalow with a yard was not bad.

"Jiang Hongyi, why don't we choose a bungalow? I think it has three separate rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom, and a large yard. It's more suitable for us."

Jiang Hongyi nodded after listening and was about to say something when he was interrupted by a sharp voice behind him.

"No! Captain Jiang, you are a battalion commander, a cadre. You shouldn't live in a bungalow. That would be degrading!"

Everyone looked at her, only to see Chen Lin shaking her head wildly, waving her hands, and refusing behind them with messy hair.

No one paid any attention to her and continued to discuss. There was silence behind them for a few seconds.

Three black lines appeared out of thin air above Qi Xu's head, as if a crow was flying by. I felt really embarrassed for her.

Jiang Hongyi agreed with Qi Xu's point of view. He also felt that living in a bungalow was more convenient, because he heard that the conversations in the building could be heard outside and downstairs, and there was no privacy at all.

Each bungalow has its own entrance and each house is far away from each other. Vegetables can be grown in the yard. No matter how you look at it, bungalows have many advantages.

Jiang Hongyi was determined to choose a bungalow, so Qi Xu planned to ask the office comrades to take them to see a few more vacant bungalows to choose from.

"No! Absolutely not! Captain Jiang, you cannot lower yourself!"

"You can only choose a building, choose my empty room upstairs!"

Seeing that no one paid any attention to her and that everyone was about to leave, Chen Lin became completely crazy and wanted to step forward to stop Jiang Hongyi.

As a result, he stepped on a stone halfway, tripped over his left foot and fell heavily in front of them.

Qi Xu wanted to laugh when he saw her looking up even though she was covered in dust, but he knew she was very jealous, so he bit his lower lip with his teeth until it hurt and he restrained himself from bursting into laughter.

Shaking his head with a look of regret, it seemed that Chen Lin still hadn't realized his extremely unlucky physique.

"Let's go."

Jiang Hongyi had no intention of helping Chen Lin up. He turned around and asked the young comrade in the office to lead them to continue choosing a house.

I looked at several bungalows before, but Qi Xu directly rejected them all.

Because she took a quick look at the location of the house, and found that it was either facing the mountain or the heart, or even worse, facing the hall. Even if it was just a makeshift place, it would be uninhabitable.

"Comrade, are there any other bungalows? It doesn't matter if they are a little further away."

What she said reminded the young comrade in the office of the bungalow that many people were unwilling to choose.

"Yes, sister-in-law, there really is such a house. Let's go this way."

Under his leadership, everyone came to a place far away from the entrance of the family compound.

Qi Xu was delighted at first sight. This house was great. It was in the best location in every aspect. It was simply her dream house.
