Standing on the first step, the pastry shop inside the glass window is decorated like a bakery in a fairy tale world. There are many customers inside, and the waiters are too busy to keep up with packing pastries.

The two climbed up and down the stairs, even though they were on the same street, only a few dozen meters apart.

His hand was on the trigger, but a sudden, chilling sensation shot through his neck. Before the assassin could even raise his head, a knife plunged straight into his spine with a muffled thud…
With a "thud," the knife pierced the skin, and the sniper felt an indescribable pain that caused his whole body to spasm, his brain to tremble, and his muscles to tense up.

The man remained in a strange posture, as if trying to turn to look at the spot from which the excruciating pain was coming, but in that brief second, he lost his life completely, his body covered in blood.
Blood continued to ooze out, soaking his clothes and slowly flowing onto the rough cement rooftop, staining large areas of the building's edge.
His eyes were fixed intently on him.
Gu Qingwan kicked the corpse aside, picked up her sniper rifle with her left hand, and aimed it towards the southeast. Through the scope, she could already see the figure of another assassin…
