While the group was discussing the wedding dress that looked nice, a shop assistant came over shortly afterward.
"Ladies, I've already spoken with the store manager, and he said it's perfectly fine. We do have more expensive styles in our store that we don't usually display. If you'd like to see them, please come with me."
Zhao Xuerou's eyes immediately lit up, and she pulled them along with the shop assistant through the long corridor with its soft lighting, all the way to the innermost part of the corridor.
There was a particularly large door here, like the kind in a castle with two sliding doors. On both sides were many exquisite reliefs, mostly depicting a story of a princess and a knight's marriage. The plot was rather cliché—the knight endured hardships, crossed a forest teeming with ferocious beasts, defeated the evil king, and brought the imprisoned princess back to the kingdom. It had a very fairytale-like feel. The three of them gazed at this painting for quite a while; its dreamlike romance was truly moving.
This door is probably rarely opened. There are many sofa boxes and cardboard boxes piled up to waist height next to it. The shop assistant bent down and moved these boxes one by one. Ke Bing wanted to help, but the shop assistant politely declined.
She said these were all empty boxes and not heavy at all, and it would be impolite to ask her distinguished guests to help her.
Soon, all the boxes were moved aside, and the shop assistants gestured for them to work together from both sides to push open the more than three-meter-high door.
Zhao Xuerou nodded, and she and Luo Xiaoli stood on the left, placing their hands on the cold bronze door. With a slight push, the two doors opened with a creaking sound.
A patch of darkness came into their view.
Before they could react, the shop assistant went in first. Because it was so dark, they stood there and didn't dare to go in.
Until there was a "click".
The lights in the inner exhibition hall were turned on, instantly illuminating the space and revealing everything inside.
How can I describe this scene? It's a dreamlike, fantastical scene.
The huge glass cabinet reflected the light from the powerful lights above. The glass looked like layers of ice crystals, with intricate patterns engraved on the bottom.
Inside the cabinet were extremely beautiful wedding dresses! Each one was a work of art, adorned with tiny diamonds, and some were even inlaid with gemstones of other colors. Long ribbons tied around the waist, with ribbons dyed in the unique colors of American flowers.
Each of these wedding dresses has its own unique characteristics, and all of them are dazzling and captivating.
Especially under constantly reflecting light.
They felt as if they had stepped into a princess's private collection. Their eyes widened in surprise, and Xiao Rou's beautiful eyes shone with astonishment. It was all so captivating.
The three of them remained silent, admiring the wedding dresses. The shop assistants simply stood by, not disturbing the guests as they immersed themselves in the ambiance.
Even though she has worked here for a long time, every time she comes in, her heart is stirred. This is the natural reaction to beauty; it would be an exaggeration not to be moved.
Luo Xiaoli, Ke Bing, and Zhao Xuerou were drawn to different wedding dresses.
The first thought that came to mind was, "This is the kind of dress I should wear to my once-in-a-lifetime wedding."
Imagine this scene: holding your favorite flowers, their fragrance wafting upwards, a look of emotion on your face, holding your lover's hand, wearing a wedding dress that will amaze everyone.
That was a scene worth remembering.
Luo Xiaoli was quickly drawn to a wedding dress, her gaze unable to leave it. The dress was placed in the very center, and it was exactly the kind of dress a princess should wear, very similar to the one in the relief.
The veil cascaded down to below the model's hips, completely enveloping her. The fuller upper body was draped in a particularly soft, transparent fabric, resembling a membrane containing a faux glass ornament. Its prismatic shape reflected the light like dazzling crystal. The skirt below was equally sleek, cascading down in layers. Just seeing this outfit evoked images of a breathtakingly beautiful scene.
This wedding dress is like a work of art, giving people a hazy, dreamlike beauty. In particular, the design on the side that shows off the smooth calves removes all the bulkiness and adds a touch of lightness and freedom, as if riding the wind, amidst the vast expanse of water.
Luo Xiaoli loved its design; just like her name, it was transparent and clear, without a trace of impurity.
The three women have different goals and different aesthetics, so their tastes in choosing clothes are also very different.
Ke Bing walked for a long time. Every piece in the exhibition hall seemed beautiful, elegant, or luxurious, but she felt that none of them truly belonged to her. Only the one that truly captured her heart at first glance was the one she truly desired.
Until she reached the innermost spot, a secluded corner where a single lamp shone into the glass display case, creating a unique atmosphere.
Beneath the wedding dress train were countless seashells and a large pool of golden sand. Most importantly, the glass was double-layered, with real, flowing water in the space between them, being blown upwards by the airflow from the oxygen supply machine below, creating tiny bubbles. Live fish swam inside, and aquatic plants even grew at the bottom.
In such an exquisite design, the wedding dress shone even brighter. It wasn't pure white, but a deep, ocean-blue, so serene it was captivating. Ripples of fabric resembled surging ocean currents, with azure gemstones adorning the dress from the bodice down to the waist. The skirt's hem flowed like white waves, like the gown worn by a queen in the icy waters. A mysterious wedding dress from the ancient legends of Atlantis, where a queen, crowned and with a swaying fishtail, commanded the submission of all beings and ascended the throne.
