Jiang Cheng kept his eyes closed.
After taking another deep breath, his consciousness soared out again. This time, however, it raced towards the vast sky.
In an instant, a sparrow fluttering its wings came into his field of vision. Its strong wings swept through the air, and the sparrow's large black eyes looked around, as if searching for a suitable place to land.
Watching the sparrows fly freely, Jiang Cheng had a sudden thought.
A faint mechanical grinding sound suddenly came from behind him, and the scales silently shed from his back. A few seconds later, a pair of enormous mechanical wings appeared out of thin air.

The alloy feathers, gleaming with a cold, silvery light, stood upright in the air, exuding an unmistakable chill.
The sleek lines of the wings demonstrate a fluid dynamics function, as if he could soar through the sky with just a gentle flap of his wings.
As he withdrew his will, the mechanical wings ceased their open state and slowly folded behind him. Feeling the cool touch of the wings covering his back, Jiang Cheng gently controlled his mind, manipulating the wings to open and close slightly behind him. This smooth experience was as if the mechanical wings had always been part of his body, never separated.
The dimly lit basement was also illuminated by the light emanating from these enormous wings.
Unlike the eerie blue light of the "Heart of the Universe," the alloy armor radiated a more menacing and imposing aura, a chilling light that pierced straight to the heart. At this moment, this light enveloped the entire basement, so bright that it was impossible to open one's eyes.
Jiang Cheng snapped out of his reverie and slowly opened his eyes. As he did so, he saw himself in the mirror.
Rather than calling him a human with extra mechanical armor, it's more accurate to say he's a superhuman. From his initial full-body armor to his current silver-white mechanical wings, Jiang Cheng's heart has become increasingly full.
After merging with Gu Qingwan, Jiang Cheng has transcended the realm of humanity.

Jiang Cheng wanted to experience more, but suddenly felt a wave of dizziness and his legs went weak. He collapsed to his knees as if all his strength had been drained.
